I came here at 6pm on a Friday with my wife and 5 month old son as we were looking for a “unique” brewery. I didn’t tell my wife this was a heavy metal themed spot (which is not typically our scene), but she was not taken aback when we sat down. The softly played heavy metal background music with the matching decor gently blended with the warm hospitality. We enjoyed a nice pint from their extensive beer collection and enjoyed a nice 9 inch pie. Previous reviewers rave about the ‘Za, which I would say was good, but I have high expectations as a wannabe pizza connoisseur. Overall, solid spot, unique brewery, good beers, and worth checking out.

This place is definitely unique and that’s wonderful. Metal is the only music option here, don’t even try to change things up. In my experience it’s a welcoming and safe environment despite the initial look of the place. When you look around you warm up to it and see all the different stuff that’s been added to the place- the walls and such. I appreciate that there’s an outdoor space. The people who work here are friendly. The pizza is good. The wings are INSANELY good. There’s a heavy metal flea market here the last Sunday of the month. It’s a pretty cool place - I’m a repeat customer and will continue to go back. They also make good beer, don’t forget that part, but I figured that’s a given.
It’s a safe space to be LGBTQ+ in this space. From what I can tell, hate won’t be tolerated at Black Sky, and I’m here for it.
