Our server seemed less than happy. Also my companion asked for black beans instead of refried and didn't get them.

We haven't been to Blue Bonnet in a while and had family in from out of town looking for green chili. Everything we had was delicious. I had chili rellenos. We will be back!

Loved this place 20 years ago, and moved away. Just went back tonight with four people who had never been because we are visiting Denver. The food is excellent and authentic. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Blue Bonnet is wonderful!

Super casual spot. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, it's mediocre at best. Over portioned food. Salsa is watery and pretty bland. Enchiladas had processed "swiss" cheese on them, yuck. Did not even take the time to melt the cheese on the quesabirria tacos... lumps of cold cheese and probably could have been 3 tacos instead of 2....overly full. Lots of people apparently love this place but seems over priced and forgettable. We won't be back. Not for us.Service was great. Very attentive staff.Don't like the wage tax. Just raise your prices instead of hiding the cost till you get the bill.

I first ate at Blue Bonnet in 1998 and have been a fan ever since. The food is reliably good, the atmosphere is fun and casual. We've been take our teen kids there since they were babies. The salsa may be the best in Denver. It is no longer on the menu, but I still order my favorite meal the Fajita Tacos with steak.

Probably our favorite Mexican place in Denver. In part because they keep their menu interesting. They've got their standards but they try new things!

The food and service were great. I really liked the green chili. Everything tasted great after having minor surgery that
Ordered Al Pastor tacos, what kind of Mexican restaurant put shaved Cabbage and Carrot on a Al PastorTaco? The Chicken was unseasoned (no flavor) Pineapple seemed old and not fresh.Food was mediocre, no seasoning, rice was cold, Beans were too salty and cold.People who have rated this restaurant as 5 star might have never ate authentic Mexican food before, or maybe they don’t like to season their food.

Putting the Tex in TexMex! Everything about our food was outstanding. Best Chile Relleno I've had in a very long time! The beef taco was also super traditional with great flavor on the taco meat. A new fave. We will be back.
