Very authentic fascinating experience. My night the chef was one man operation. Me took orders, hand prepared fresh noodles for our dishes on workstation near our table. The wanton ‘soup’ in chili oil was excellent, filling in steamed buns tasty, we had pork and sliced noodles and chicken with pulled noodles. Food was generous. Took some time, but look forward to sampling more of the menu in the future.
The best hand pulled noddles in Colorado. Super authentic! Expect to wait because it’s made from the scratch. But 100% worth it!!
The longest dining experience I’ve ever had. Did we mind? Absolutely not. It was also one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We went during a busy time and the food was seriously amazing. Just be prepared for an experience. I’m talking 2 - 3 hours if you go during peak time however that was a’okay considering it’s one man operating an incredible restaurant with delicious hand made noodles! And made to order! Our 4 year old handled it well and we had food most of the time during that period as well. Not pictured are the dumplings, Beijing Pork and egg rolls. We went for the noodles mainly, and left extremely happy. Will definitely be back!
I'm speech less! Yes, extremely rare! This one man operation & hand pulled, hand made noodle has managed to keep the dining room open! Word of encouragement, if you own any type of business. Close your doors for 3-4 hours and make a mandatory meeting at this place! I can't speak on the authenticity of the food, but on par with anything I've had. If your not patient or feel entitled to superior service, just stay away or go for a humbling experience. Don't mind the reviews!
Absolutely amazing. We have been wanting to try Little Chengdu/Blue Ocean since we heard about it, and now I wish we didn't wait. We ordered to go over the phone (I had questions so didn't want to order online) and it took about 45 minutes, which we were expecting. It was a big order and everything was made from scratch. We ordered the dumplings, Lanzhou hand pulled noodles (which is a soup with a delicious broth), wonton soup in chili oil (which is not a soup but handmade wontons), sauteed hand pulled beef noodles, pork in garlic sauce, and szechuan beef. I can't pick a favorite as everything was awesome. I'd go back weekly if I could. I know the food can take awhile, but if you can order at less busy times or have the time to wait, it's 100% worth it. Also, the guy was helpful on the phone and pleasant at pickup.
Amazing hand pulled noodles. Please be patient, as the chef can be running everything depending on the day. It's worth the wait. I recommend a dash of sweet vinegar and chili for this soup. We've been back akready.
The food was really good. It tasted very authentic. I went during off peak hours. So the food came out very quickly
Absolutely great food and he made everything himself on the spot including making your noodle from a dough. Lookout for that.. My fav is Lan Zhou Noodle soup, fried 5 spiced bao and knife cut sautéed noodle. Yes, a one man show, so patience is needed. I grabbed tea, water, chopstick, to go boxes from the condiments if I need to and he was ok with that. He’s always smiling and running in and out of kitchen, taking orders, cashiering, to go orders, check on customers. I did have an urge to help lol. Some reviewed that he overcharged, but he actually undercharged me and I have to tell him. The dishes are not cheap because of the spice and the work he has to do so don’t expect typical price like sweet sour chicken or Mongolian beef those kinda American Chinese food.
This maybe the only place in greater Denver area that does Chinese hand pulled and hand sliced noodles.Had stir fried hand sliced noodle with chilli oil and lanzhou noddle soup. Both were superb and highlighted the fresh made noodle textures. Ask for the fried noodle spicy. Soup was a light broth, unlike the usual heavy meaty beefy broth that can be over powering. But its heavy on cilantro in case you dont like cilantro.Yes, he is a one man show, taking orders, pulling noodles, cooking. And he has togo app orders. Pretty amazing to see how he does it. It does take time, but he gets it done. So, dont come in a hurry. Think of a European dining experience, it’s not fast. For reference: There was 1 table before us, and some togo orders. Our noodles for 2 dinner took about an hour from arrival to leaving. The people who left bad reviews. Are you here for food or service? Food is 5 star. Service is good, just slow, the guy is really nice. If you took time to leave bad reviews, i assume you took time to read them as well and know he is a one man show.Come for the food, it fits in the slow food movement crowd, not the i want it now crowd. You wont be disappointed, oh and order from the Chinese menu ?
I had never order from here before but I was reading the reviews and I thought lets try it. I am so happy I did. This is the best Chinese food I have had in Colorado. This is going to be our go to from now on. You need to order the salt and pepper ribs OMG and the shrimp egg rolls are awesome and noodles were to die for.

Delicious food for sure! I'm also amazed that it's one guy running the entire place! Props to him and well done!
Chef Jack is simply an artist. The art of hand pulled and knife cut noodles is disappearing around the world. So blessed we have him in Denver.
This place is a gem and so is the person that handles this place! It is a one man show with incredible food! I’ve never had such amazing hand made noodles- possibly the freshest I’ve ever had! Yes you will have to wait a while to get your food as it’s just one person but trust me it’s worth it! You will leave with satisfied taste buds! He literally makes noodles based on orders, that’s how fresh it is.They also have a variety of Asian drinks - my favourites were marble soda and coconut milk drink.
Get the Chinese menu, order any of the noodle dishes (they're literally all excellent), wait a while, and leave happy having had the freshest handmade Chinese noodles in Colorado.Note that it's just the chef/owner running the restaurant by himself (and it's been like this for a while) -- including taking orders, cooking, answering the phone, and bussing -- so be prepared to wait for a while. It's best to come when it's quiet and in a smaller group, otherwise you might be long done eating before others in your party even get their food.
Authentic & delicious Chinese food! Loved everything we ordered, especially the handmade noodles! It’s running as one-man show because chef couldn’t find helper since pandemic. Your patience will be paid off by super yummy food!
