The coffee is good but the baristas aren’t friendly

Came here this morning before work at 645 and apparently a prt of their espresso machine was missing or broken so i couldnt get a latte or anything i wanted. Bummer. Ended up getting a black coffee.

Wow! Service was SO rude. Didn’t know the matcha came pre-sweetened & when I asked to have it remade WITHOUT sweetener the barista literally rolled her eyes at me. One girl with curly hair at the register was very nice. But the other two behind the bar were disrespectful and not friendly at all. I will not be back.

Visited Blue Sparrow Coffee recently, drawn in by its bustling atmosphere and the promise of good coffee. On that note, the coffee didn’t disappoint—I particularly enjoyed their Japanese iced coffee, which was a refreshing delight. However, the service aspect didn’t quite match up to the quality of the drink. The interaction at the counter felt rushed and somewhat unwelcoming. The barista, a guy with reddish hair wearing a stocking cap, came across as annoyed, which unfortunately put a damper on the overall experience. It’s a reminder of how crucial customer service is, even in places as seemingly straightforward as a coffee shop. While it’s apparent that customer service is a widespread issue these days, it’s these small interactions that can significantly influence the ambiance and customer satisfaction.

Unfortunately, my experience was similar to others who wrote about the service. The food and coffee were good, but the barista treated me like I was an inconvenience for asking one easy question about the coffee. She was curt, wouldn't look me in the eye, and said nothing after I thanked her for the coffee. This was my first time here and will be my last. I am a polite customer, but felt so unwelcome.

The best almond croissant I had ever eaten. The ambience is great for a quick cup of coffee or to work while sipping coffee. Wework being just above, this cafe is an added bonus to the members. Latte was good, pretty normal, wish it was more hot. The staff is very helpful & welcoming. I also ended up buying one of their pullovers, very good quality although expensive.

This coffee place is charming and has a great atmosphere. What makes it special to me is their Slayer coffee machine with its flow control. In the right hands and with the right beans, any coffee from this machine tastes fantastic. So did mine !!

Blue Sparrow has become my go-to spot for a warm cup of comfort. The cozy ambiance, adorned with modern decor and the hum of background chatter, creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for both work and leisure. The coffee here is a true delight—rich, aromatic, and brewed to perfection. The skilled baristas take pride in their craft, evident in every expertly poured latte art. The menu offers a diverse selection of coffee blends, each with its own distinctive flavor profile, satisfying the palates of both casual coffee drinkers and aficionados. What truly sets this coffee shop apart is its friendly and attentive staff. The baristas not only master the art of coffee-making but also cultivate a welcoming environment. They remember regulars by name, fostering a sense of community that transcends the simple act of ordering coffee.Whether you're seeking a quiet corner to work, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying a moment of solitude with a good book, this neighborhood gem accommodates all. Prices are reasonable, making it an accessible daily indulgence. In essence, this coffee shop is more than just a place for caffeine—it's a cherished hub where the love for coffee converges with the warmth of community.

Their Golden Latte with Oat was excellent! I think it also had black pepper in it (great for activating the curcumin in the turmeric)! I had also asked if there was sweetener in it and the barista noted it had 1 teaspoon of coconut sugar so there is a slightly coconut-y taste that liked.

Atmosphere is great, connected to a hotel lobby, so decent seating. Coffee was delicious. However my one qualm is that you pay a lot for the pastries and they can’t heat them at this location. I don’t want a cold 6 dollar croissant. So just stick with coffee here, unless you’re into cold pastries.

We ordered a couple lattes at Blue sparrow, they were nice and as a self-identified croissant connoisseur I think this is the best one I’ve tried in Denver. Good vibes to do some light work, or studying.
