As others have said, classic diner experience. No frills decor, but a fast kitchen and friendly staff. I wish they'd re-open their counter, and they don't serve pie. Otherwise, a nice staple in the neighborhood.

The building could use a good interior cleaning. The ceiling was pretty gross. The staff was moderately friendly. My experience was not great, but not bad.

This hit the spot! I was really craving chicken fried steak, so my partner came across Breakfast Palace in their search. The restaurant is a hole-in-the-wall that's unassuming, down-to-earth, and not the sort of exterior that makes you think their food would be very good. But the food is delicious for what it is: hearty breakfast/diner food for a great value! My chicken fried steak was absolutely smothered with country gravy, which is my personal preference, but people who don't appreciate their meat drowning in gravy should probably note that. My partner's French toast and breakfast plate was fairly standard breakfast food but satisfying. They have specials running Monday-Fri, the food is on the affordable end, and service was friendly and attentive. There is a lot of space for bigger groups and families, and the tables are well spread out. I'll likely come back here whenever I'm craving some good chicken fried steak. Parking: they have their own lot.

This place is 100%, what you expect and hope for in a breakfast place. I've been coming here since I believe 2006. There are no frills but it's the food you're coming for anyways so who cares.

Tiny portions. Nothing special. Incredibly expensive for what you get. Should be about half the price.
Not as good as it used to be. Sadly this neighborhood breakfast joint seems to be struggling. The corned beef hash now comes from a can and it’s disgusting. Hashbrowns were barely cooked and the wait was long. Coffee is GROSS.

Just discovered this 34 year old no frills spot on Broadway and I'm already a fan! Reasonably priced and generous portions - what more could you ask for? The space is clean, well lit, and has its own parking lot, plus the service is friendly and prompt. I highly recommend the New Mexico Skillet, packed with bacon and avocado and topped with salsa. Or if you're a meat lover, the Meat Lover Skillet is sure to satisfy your cravings with ample ham, bacon, and sausage. And don't even get me started on the hot chocolate - it's so rich and delicious! If you're in the area, definitely make a stop here. It's a gem!

Stopped in for a replacement breakfast after a botched attempt at breakfast at a place down the street. Consistently great food and service here, highly recommended.

Hole in the wall, but the food is good. Prices are steep, but the servers and people are lovely. Rarely a wait, service is super fast.
