I am surprised there are so many positive reviews. We were craving Italian and we ordered from Bruno's. It's hands down the most greasy most bland pasta I've ever had. I had the veal marsala and it was horrible. I'm positive they used white mushrooms and the pasta was boxed. The Alfredo was just as bland and very greasy for Italian. The artichokes tased like they were out of a jar. After spending $140 dollars I am just blown away at the poor quality of ingredients. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

Every course of the meal was delicious and all offerings were appealing on this Denver Restaurant Week menu. The bread was fresh with a crunchy crust. The burrata was generous, flavorful and attractively presented. The minestrone had the right amount of spice and the pasta in it was al dente. The eggplant parmesian was stacked high with a generous amount of traditional red sauce. The limoncello cake was light and lemony and paired well with a double espresso. Can't say enough about the totality of enjoyment in this experience.

I always enjoy going back to Brunos and I'm never disappointed either food wise or value wise. When he is not being a chef, Nick (owner) is always making nice touches that add to the ambiance... like new tables, paneling the south wall, etc.

Bruno's was fantastic! The ambiance inside is so lovely, but even more important they make delicious Italian food - hard to find in the Denver area. The service was outstanding.

We loved everything from arrival to departure, having shared delicious drinks and wine. The food was spectacular from start to finish. Loved the burrata! The sole was perfect and we will be finishing it tonight at home! Look forward to coming back soon! Bravo!!!

This restaurant was a great experience. We love restaurant week because we can find wonderful restaurants like Bruno's. The service and food were exceptional. We appreciated the suggestions for our beverages and they were really good. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Bruno's is like your neighborhood Italian place. The food is good and they will make a dish to order if they have the sauces and pasta you require. We were served by the owner who was very nice so the service was perfect. Also, after a half hour, we were the only people in the room! (not always the case at this neighborhood favorite but it was snowing and Denver Restaurant Week starts Friday) So it was quiet and very comfortable. Easy parking in back of the restaurant in their parking lot. Always a plus when eating in downtown Denver.

We really liked Bruno's and had a delicious meal there. We were greeted warmly and made to feel like family. I would have rated more highly, except for the noise level. It was so loud that we could barely talk or hear the server when he described the nightly specials. Consequently, not the place for a romantic dinner. Some noise baffles would help immensely!

Try the Sea Bass with pan roasted tomatoes, peas, olives, mushrooms and spinach, the sauce is amazing. The Sea Bass perfectly was cooked, with firm, crispy edges and mouthwatering moistness inside. I ordered it, with a side of linguine with capers and it was outstanding. Served with a house salad, with balsamic vinegar dressing and warm Italian bread with the olive oil, garlic chunks and olives and tomato dipping sauce.

Good food and great service.Dietary restrictions: We have many family dietary restrictions. Bruno’s does a great job of making sure that the food served is appropriate.

I have frequented Brunos for several years... going back to their time on south Monaco. Nick is an exceptional host. The food is phenomenal (my favorite is the Roman fried artichokes). The service is very good and the atmosphere is warm, quaint, inviting...and best of all you can have a normal conversation with inside voices!

The service was very good, and the restaurant has a nice feel to it. There are just some odd preparations. The bruschetta has goat cheese, roasted red peppers, and basil. No tomatoes or balsamic vinegar. My wife ordered chicken parmigiana, and it was paired with spaghetti with a mushroom pesto. All in all, the food was good, but if you're going to deviate from expectations, then please tell us what to expect. Although not an allergy, mushrooms make my wife ill, so it wasn't the most pleasant of experiences. I had the sausage lasagne, which was very good, and the chocolate moose cake was excellent.

Food is solid, service is very friendly and attentive. However, the food presentation and overall ambience could use some upgrades. Music was being played off of a little handheld speaker from the bus table station, sounded like it was coming from the kitchen. Plus, a really annoying dinging sound went off each time someone opened the back/front doors throughout the entire meal. Some minor changes and this place will be great!
