We had a wonderful experience at Bruto yesterday. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, the sommelier went above and beyond actually searching for locations where the wine we liked could be purchased. The only negative I have to say is that the food was extremely over salted. So much so that the actual flavor of some dishes were not coming through because of all the sodium. Even my fiancé who is a salt addict was mentioning that he thought there was too much salt....
This was my first time experiencing a Michelin star dining experience, and I have to say that it was fantastic! Relative to other Michelin restaurants, the price was very fair for the food. The servers and chefs were happy to answer any questions and kept a fun, light conversation going through the entire experience. No one was pretentious, and they were happy to tell the stories of how they source their ingredients. The cocktails were great - between the server's recommendations...
The most amazing dinner! Chef Byron and the team is beyond intentional with every single course. The non alcohol pairing is also out of this world. Nick took great care of us and was extremely friendly and hospitable. If you’re looking to impress your friends /family or learn more about sustainability and local sourcing this is the spot to go.
