Great selection of good beer, bar is dog friendly, and staff is super friendly!
good beers and cool spot
Love it! Glad it popped up in the neighborhood. Check it out. Kristen is amazing. :)
Bruz on Fax? Man, what a soulless, antiseptic void they’ve conjured up there. It’s like they took all the thrill, chaos, and unpredictability that music venues are supposed to have, vacuum-sealed it, and left behind a shiny, dead-eyed shell. Sterile is the right word—it’s as if the owners picked up a how-to manual on making a place that looks cool for Instagram but kills any sense of adventure or joy in the real, gritty world.
You walk in, and the vibe hits you like a dentist's waiting room—bland, polished, and utterly devoid of anything that makes you feel alive. The music? Might as well be Muzak echoing in the bowels of an airport bathroom. It’s not that the bands weren’t trying—it’s that the venue snuffs out any energy they might’ve brought with its clinical precision and uptight atmosphere.
And the crowd? A sorry mix of social media zombies too busy with their selfies to notice the music, too sanitized to care about anything but appearing at the next cookie-cutter spot. It’s a disgrace to the concept of live music—a performance art that’s supposed to stir the soul, not spoon-feed you corporate “vibes” on a cold, emotionless platter.
Thompson would've burned it to the ground, or at least taken a flamethrower to the neon signs. Skip Bruz unless you’re into places that make you feel like you’ve died and gone to suburbia hell. If you want a real venue, one that bleeds energy and roars with the sound of humanity, this is not your pit stop.
But if Belgium Brews is your thing, this is your spot.
I LOVE Belgian beers and have brewed them at home for over 2-decades. Certain Belgian flavors and aromas are difficult to get perfect due to temperature and yeast requirements, but their beers nailed every aspect of a perfect Belgian beer. The Pumpkin was AWESOME on a cool fall evening. Other patrons were friendly and the overall vibe was great. On thing I noticed was how clean the place was, which is refreshing based on many other taphouses who don't see the need to keep the place clean.
Bruz! Where do I start?! The beer is insane. If you love Belgian beer, holy moly. This is the best in Denver!! Tim was our bartender on this fine Saturday night. He is the man! Banging some Barry White and old school hip hop, I will be back very soon. Trust me folks. This beer is top of the charts!
What a wonderful surprise. I was shopping at the wonderful Record Store Twist and Shout and searched for a brewery around me, and Bruz off Fax appeared. This is a wonderfully cozy Belgian themed brewery with legitimate Belgian beers. But that is only the beginning. The usual Double Triples and Quadrupel ales are on tap, but special riffs on the usual styles add to the wonder. On the day I dropped in they had a Mango Cardamom Tripel as well as IPA with a mix of European and American Hops with a Belgian yeast, what a treat. They are super friendly offering a taste before buying a full beer and also offer samplers. The To-Go beer fridge has many of the favorites, including the Dawg Daze which I was able to enjoy back in the hotel. Make a visit if you are looking for well crafted legitimate style beers with that creative twist. A true not to miss brewery in Denver.
Great beer in a great location. Huge place with very comfortable tables and seating. Can't go wrong visiting this joint.
Recently discovered this spot and gosh did they have a great patio and outdoor section for listening to music that looks like it’s in a container! Love their beer flights & as a non beer drinker I was impressed by tie IPA’s!! Delicious! Also cute bar area, inside bench areas & lovely pricing!

Best belgian beers in the city, family and dog friendly. Love having this spot in our neighborhood!
Love the Bruz! They have a fantastic patio (that you would never know exists if you don't visit!) plus good indoor space if the weather is inclement. Friendly staff, fun events, and a very fine selection of Beligan brews. We love swinging by on random weeknights just for a bit of chillaxin'!
I just love this place. Good Belgian beers and the patio and variety of seating options make it easy to accomodate if you have any sized group usually. I wish there were more reliable food truck options and live music but just from a beer and locale perspective 10/10.
Finally! A local brewery that features an amazing variety of Belgian style beers. I had a flight and my favorite was the Dubbel. Also loved that they featured local snacks. Very much enjoyed the patio and vibe. Only regret was not finding this place sooner! Looking forward to returning and also checking out their main brewery.
Best bar on Colfax. Kristen and Jake are top notch humans who have cultivated an amazing social hub for the neighborhood.
