Had the Homemade Cinnamon Roll and the Round House eggs, ham, cheese, bacon, and sausage all stacked on hashbrowns and toast. Simple, filling, and classic diner food done right.

The cinnamon roll was huge and perfectly sweet. Great spot for a hearty breakfast.

The Butcher Block is hands down one of my favorite local spots in Denver! The food is always flavorful and comforting. Brunch here is a must! My favorites are the Roundhouse or their cinnamon rolls. They’re absolutely delicious (asked for it warmed)! On top of that, they have an unbeatable $5 burger special after 3!

The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and you can tell they really care about their guests. Whether you’re looking for a hearty brunch, a casual bite, or a local spot to enjoy with friends, The Butcher Block never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Country gravy was beige, not white, and tasted of flour. The omelet was thin, but tasted good with cheese on it. The hash browns were served with skins in the potatoes, so there was a grainy feel between my teeth that gave me goose bumps. Pancake was typical. The chocolate milk was delicious. Service was good. Overall, it was an average experience.

Love the food here and service.
The outside is starting to look like “Mi Pueblo Market”. There is people selling food out in their cars behind and in front of Butcher Block. The parking lot is ALWAYS full of Amazon drivers. 8/10 times you go there you will not find parking. The Amazon people are always dumping trash, playing loud Spanish music, and lastly the people who are there do NOT know how to drive. Last time I was there one of the drives almost hit my car. I will
no longer be eating here.

I don't know how many times i have driven by this place on Washington Street without stopping, until i did so the other day. Nothing fancy or kitschy, just a plain and simple diner with an old-school, neighborly vibe. Good variety of menu items and prices are relatively cheaper than some of its counterparts in downtown Denver. Breakfast omelette was good and the cinnamon rolls are great, even though they are $4 a piece (as of this posting). Plenty of seats inside, and free parking in front of restaurant. Recommended.

Not reasonable pricing. Used to be a great reasonable spot now too expensive. Food still good quality. But now it's $15 for a breakfast sandwich.
