As always the food was excellent and the service so attentive. We watch my brother and sister-in-law who were visiting from Pennsylvania and they said it was the best meal of their week long vacation in Colorado. We have also celebrated birthdays here and always appreciated the creative and delicious food and fine service as well as delightful ambience.
Service had a robotic feel. There was very little listening. Wine recommendations are weak, go in knowing how to pair on your own. Only one service is provided at a time: Drinks, Food, Dessert. Don't plan on ordering Drinks and Appetizers at the same time, or asking additional questions to your waiter. You must fight for attention.
The food here is absolutely amazing!!! The pizza, the drinks, the entrees. My only feedback would be that service is very slow. We arrived 6:30 and there was a plate ready to deliver to a table and it was sitting there for another 20 minutes. I get maybe it was rush hour and I would have been happy drinking my margarita but that also took such a long time to arrive.
A great little Italian neighborhood spot. We always enjoy our dinners. Love the wooed fire food! Great patio that welcomes dogs.
Food was very good. Our server committed one oversight, but owned up and apologized, appropriately. Otherwise he did very well. The dining room is fine but not particularly attractive. Noise level was a bit higher than we prefer.
They were great, working hard even being a server down. Food and wine were perfectly paired and the gelato was excellent.
Went to Cafe Mercato for the first time with my best friend to celebrate her birthday. It was a great time! The food was so good!! Our server, John, was ahhhhhh-mazing! The atmosphere was great for our occasion! A really good experience!

They opened so late we had to eat somewhere else. We waited 15 minutes and then left. Stopped back on the way to the car to ensure we were not marked as a no show.
Food was tasty, we got some classic pizzas and the dinner special Peach Palisade salad which had fresh peaches throughout. Gelato had an interesting flavor base but the lava cake saved it for sure 😋

This was a very pleasant meal with excellent food and well-crafted cocktails. The outdoor seating area was quiet (indoors seemed quiet as well) and on a Sunday evening there was minimal road activity to interfere. Service was good in some ways: knowledgeable and convivial waitstaff and an excellent bartender. However there was an inexplicable delay in our receiving our drink orders and appetizers. After that, service was prompt and the rhythm of the meal was just fine.

I loved the outdoor seating area — a peaceful spot with great coffee and light snacks.

Food was so so, bland, and the menu was quite disappointing. I tried to want and like it but one bite and I was done. Boxed up the rest and took it home for my husband.
Mainly gave it 3 stars instead of 1 because my waitress kept her communication to a very minimum. As someone who grew up overseas I can’t stand how American waiters run up constantly asking how the food is. She didn’t do that so this is the only reason you get some stars from me

This was a great time celebrating my Best Friends birthday! Our first time at Cafe Mercato, our server, John was amazing!! The food was delicious! We will be back!
A food lover's dream: spacious, comfortable Italian restaurant with plenty of parking, low noise levels, good cocktails and wine--and delicious food. The flatiron steak was cooked precisely to order. Excellent sides, including an authentic-tasting risotto and perfectly sauteed spinach. Even the espresso was a standout. The restaurant is close to two good Denver-area theaters, the Vintage and the John Hand. Service is prompt and efficient, and Cafe Mercato is great for pre-theater dining.
Mercator has long been our go-to Lowry restaurant for both a casual drink & appetizer or a full dinner. Last night, with visiting friends was out standing. Food, wine selection, ambiance and service. Plus, quiet enough for our group of 4 to talk!!
