I ordered a cake for an employees birthday and I got all kinds of confirmations that the cake is being prepared, the cake is ready, and the cake is ready for pickup. I sent an employee to pick it up and they said that cake needs at least a week preparation. Then why am I getting all the confirmation emails? They did give another cake at the same price, but it's really upsetting because the cake I ordered was my employees favorite. Note for future customers, call when you put the order in, because even though the emails say that it is being prepared, that's not always the case.

The sweet woman at this bakery graciously agreed to make a cake for my daughterâs birthday with not a lot of notice. The cake was perfection! So pretty on the outside and absolutely delicious. We also picked up pistachio cream pastries from their case, and they were amazing. We will be back!

I just got a Black Forest cake from them for my husbandâs birthday and it was sooooooo good! I loved that there was some of the good thick frosting in there as well as the whippy kind and the cherries and cake were delicious. They were also so incredibly nice while interacting with them and we also tried some of their pastries on display that were equally delicious! 10/10!

Original review: I ordered a cake made out of cupcakes after confirming by phone that, while they hadnât done one before, they could make it. I emailed a reference photo and specifically requested that the bike design be red instead of blue.
When I arrived, the cake did not look like what I requested. When I asked for a solution, I was told, âtoo bad, we donât do refunds. Weâll just donate it to a church.â I was also told the frosting had been sprayed âto make it look realistic.â In my opinion, the result looked messy, dirty, and unprofessionalâcertainly not worth the $220 price.
Stay away. This is the worst customer service ever!

I can not write enough good things about Cake Sugar World. We were staying over an hour away for my son's first birthday, the bakery cancelled our order the morning of his birthday. In a panic a family member stopped by and explained the situation, the Cake Sugar World staff jumped into action creating a custom birthday cake on the spot. It was beautiful and beyond delicious. I can not thank them enough for saving the day!!

I recently discovered this gem in my hood, and I am hooked. Absolutely delish pastries and customer service that cannot be topped. After giving the place a try, I ordered the mini pastries for my daughter's college graduation party. They were gobbled up instantaneously. And it's amazing that after only being in there a few times, they welcome me by name. It's like Cheers, only for sugar lovers. I am officially a dedicated fan!
