California Pizza Kitchen at Cherry Creek

I used to LOVE CPK. I still hope one day they open around the Aurora Town Center, with all the new development🫰🏽
However, last night - might have been a sign to skip this particular location.
1. It wasn't *that* busy, but the sever took over 15 minutes to even greet us.
2. We ordered our food and drinks all at the same time, and it took another 10 minutes to get our drinks/bread.
3. Our appetizer came shortly after, and we needed refills which took another 15 minutes.
4. The salad was good for my partner, but my pizza was beyond greasy. It dripped when you picked up a slice.
5. It took another 20 minutes after finishing to receive the bill.
Mind you, this was 8PM... Maybe a quarter of the way filled that late IF THAT.
6. The host didn't say anything when seating us or when we left. But it was weird how she sat in a booth and just starred at everyone eating in the place, occasionally playing on her phone.
This location needs to do better. We live in Aurora, but will just opt for the Park Meadows location at this point, unless they open a closer location one day

I had the bbq chicken pizza with a drink and they didn’t disappoint

Typical California pizza kitchen. If there was anybody in there. Look like it was getting ready to close down.

Our server Justin was hands down the best we have ever had. He was so friendly, kind and provided over the top 5 star customer service. He deserves a raise! Amazing service!!!!

Food is okay. Measured the volume of the 17 dollar S&A dip tho and found it was about 3 table spoons. That’s rough

California Pizza Kitchen was great! Even though the restaurant was crowded, Justin was an amazing server. He was super attentive, friendly, and efficient, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious as always. Highly recommend this location and especially Justin!

Last night we came and had dinner and this Asian server was amazing, gave us the best service we’ve had in forever.
He had a very rude couple come in 30 mins before they closed and were extremely rude. I felt bad for how they acted honestly but he was so kind and just kept working hard. He told us how long of a day it was and how he could t wait to be off which I don’t blame him with guest like that coming into the resturant.

Can’t wait to come back and have him be our server again

Upon entering at 825 we had a waiter rudely say about closing in 15 mins which was not true it was 35 mins, then he proceeded to keep telling people around him loudly they close at 9 on the dot. It was very rude and disrespectful, the waitress that helped us was amazing and nice and didn’t mention once about closing. Also there are 9 other people in here with us just starting to eat this wasn’t just us in the restaurant. Extremely unprofessional the waiter was Asian didn’t even talk to him but he talked at us and about us from afar. I think you should fire him for being outspokenly rude.

I had such a great experience. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure I was ordering from the correct part of the menu to ensure my pizza was gluten-free, which I really appreciated.
Originally, we planned to get our food to go, but the atmosphere was so calm and inviting, and the staff was so friendly that we decided to stay for a drink and an appetizer while waiting for our pizza. It was such a pleasant surprise! I really wish I had gotten the name of the guy who rang us up—he was fantastic.
Overall, great service, a welcoming environment, and delicious food.

Mireya was absolutely amazing, she's been at work the last couple of times that I've ordered and has been so helpful. She's very attentive and and informative. The food is amazing, it's authentic food. It's fresh and hot every time I order pick up. The portions are amazing along with the service. Can't wait to come back in again! See you soon CPK.

pizza is very amazing yummy flavor. And the bar drinks are to die for

There’s a restaurant we like to go to with my family for lunch, but twice now we’ve been served by the same waitress, and honestly, her service has been bad and hasn’t made our time at the restaurant enjoyable.

Food was terrible.

For a pizza place, their pies are over-priced and uninspired. $20 for a personal pizza where the essential elements of sauce and cheese seems to have been forgotten. It’s over-loaded with the other ingredients, which should be part of the dish, but not all. When that happens, the essential flavors are gone. That said, the staff were responsive and caring and made me feel welcome, especially the female bartender. For a solo diner, that’s important. Especially when there are lots of better pizza places around town.
