CAMELIA Modern Mexican Cuisine

This place was not very good and did not have very good service. And when we arrived at 7:00 and got sat down and at 7:30 they took our drink order, a manager or someone we didn’t know came out and told us that our order was gonna take longer than usual, because they had another big party, and so they took an hour just to get our food order .At 8:00 they took our order finally after waiting for so long. When they finally came out with our drinks half of them were correct and the others were wrong. And they didn’t which people ordered what. The waiter was very disrespectful when one of us asked a question about their drink. When our food came out the portions were not very big. And it lacked flavor. Overpriced overall for not good service and food. Thank you for reading this!

Super solid high quality mexican cuisine at it's finest. Great drinks and food in a cozy and luxurious environment in a great vivid location. Everything was on point and Mario's service was attentive and professional. If you are in the mood for the kind of high quality restaurants you would find in Mexico City but in Denver, Camélia is your spot !

We ordered cocktails and they were excellent and fancy. Our waiter was very attentive, but then again he didn’t have anyone else to attend to. One of the drinks comes with a bubble on top. What more can one say?

I went for lunch with my friends on Sunday, and to be honest, I’ve never experienced service like this before. We had a reservation, but when we arrived, no one was there to seat us. One of my girlfriends asked the only person we saw—the bartender—if we could sit down, and he confirmed that we could. After that, we waited about 15 to 20 minutes for a server to attend to us. I should have timed it! Although we saw waiters around, they ignored us until they eventually got to our table. Honestly, this restaurant needs more servers; the service was terrible.

When our waiter did arrive, she was nice, but by that point, I was already irritated from the long wait and being overlooked. On top of that, the food wasn't that great. I ordered the octopus, and for a Mexican restaurant, it was pretty bland and lacked flavor. However, I did enjoy my mocktail; that was good. In the end, I wouldn’t go back for a meal. I might return for a drink or two, but with food this expensive and underwhelming, it’s just not worth it.
