Very laid back but great Tavern! Nice seating available in front of building. Came in during Happy Hour (3-6pm). I heard raving reviews about their wings. To say the least, the wings did not disappoint, they were excellent! I chose teriyaki and Garlic Parmesan. Simply mouth watering and finger licking good, with a side of Blue Cheese dressing! Furthered my buds with Truffle French fries! Food was presented nicely and order did not take long. It appeared that they have their “regulars” which was nice to see. Bartender was prompt on the service! Would recommend you check this place out. Was in Denver for meeting downtown and stayed at the Element by Marriott. Was an easy 6 minute walk from our hotel. I would not however; walk this at night.Wheelchair accessibility: Can easily accommodate a wheelchair as there were no steps and easy ramp type access!

I'm from Buffalo, NY (chicken wing capital) and Cap City has the best wings I've had in Denver. Feels like they don't realize that which is a missed opportunity. Should be entering the wings in regional food fests. All the sauces are excellent except for BBQ which is terrible...and probably why not many people know about their wings as that's a first pick for most. To the owner: switch out your BBQ sauce for something special and you'll thank me!

This felt like a real local spot. I sat at the bar for a few drinks and a late dinner. The bartender knew everybody by name and he was regularly joking with them all. Great atmosphere. Although it was my first time in, I was greeted warmly and even introduced to a few of the regulars that were at the bar. I only ate light food, but it was good. I liked this bar and would always be happy to return

We're in town from Kansas City and were calling around for somewhere to watch the Chiefs Game. When we arrived they reserved a booth for us without asking in a place where we could see the TV. The service was GREAT! We loved everyone and the food was delicious! Overall it was an awesome environment. If we lived in Denver, we'd be regulars!

My husband and I went to the Cap City Tavern for dinner. We were in town for a Sunday afternoon Nuggets game and wanted a spot to watch the NFL playoff game that was on that evening. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. The server told us we could choose where to sit. There is seating at the bar, at a table or a booth. We picked a booth. It was a Sunday night, so the place was pretty calm and quiet. With multiple televisions, we were both able to see the game from our seats. The bar played music during the commercial breaks. For an appetizer, we got pickle chips. We both love fried pickles and these did not disappoint! I got the Truffled Shroom burger, but with a chicken breast patty. You have multiple options for your protein. The mushrooms were delicious, as was the truffle aioli. My husband got a steak quesadilla and said it was really good. It was a good choice for dinner where we could also watch some sports.
