Dylan was such a pleasure to chat with and walk us through our afternoon tea experience! This spot is bustling with a mix of friends getting together, people working from their laptops, golden gal regulars, and couples. With the high tea service we called ahead to reserve - unlimited tea from their list of over 100! Dylan made sure we knew if we didn’t like something we could get a fresh pot without issue. The pistachio rose puerh had a delicate flavor with a nice hit of caffeine. We were served teatime size scones with jam and clotted cream for our first course. Second pots of white tea with our three tier of light lunchy bites - the sandwiches are all made fresh and the fried things tasted fresh too. The apple layer cake on the dessert tier was my favorite! Third pot for me was chocolate chai and we took it to go (I really tried to drink the unlimited tea to the fullest). This is a true casual tea time - service is kind, time slows down, sit and relax awhile! A very charming experience.

Such a welcoming and friendly place! The proprietors are lovely and so willing to provide whatever you might like. Our group of 18 was so happy with the food and service. Thanks for giving us a great experience!

Excellent service, terrific gluten free food items, and an amazing assortment of teas.

Charming Little Tea House! Met a friend for High Tea, and it was lovely. I'm gluten intolerant and they made accommodations with some really tasty options. My friend is vegetarian and they accommodated her as well with tasty treats. I started with the seasonal Plum spice tea then the Chocorange Pu'ehr. The scones were nice and warm and the clotted cream just as I remembered from my time in UK. Lots of variety in their tea selections. Our server was super friendly and attentive. I only gave 4 stars because the 'Gluten Free' option was an extra $10 - I always feel like I'm being punished for having an auto-immune disorder when people charge extra for GF, DF, etc.. No extra charge if your vegetarian though. All in all a lovely afternoon.

Really cute and comfy, and the service was great. We got the high tea and the tea and scones were delightful. They let you get as many teas as you want which is a huge plus.
That being said, everything else was really disappointing. The $45 High tea came with two spanakopita triangles and two mini quiches that felt like they came from the frozen section at Costco. The finger sandwiches were served on slightly stale bread and the desserts were disappointing.
I think this is a great place to have a lot of tea and a scone with clotted cream, don’t bother with the high tea though, it’s not worth the price!

Capital Tea was such a wonderous little spot. The afternoon tea package was fabulous. The tea was delicious as was the food and we were able to try many flavors. Ferris was such an amazing tea expert. Ferris was wonderful at explaining the different teas and so friendly. 20/10 recommend!

I enjoyed a comfortable chair, a good book, and three different pots of tea. The service was friendly and prompt. The café is small but cozy, never once felt crowded. Parking was easy, I got a spot right out front (there is a lot of free two-hour parking all along both sides of the street; not sure if that's just a seasonal fluke or what). Overall, highly recommend. Definitely make a reservation.

This shop is such a cute hidden gem on South Broadway. Such a chill and cozy place to get an amazing cup of tea, and their tea services and high tea are a fun, rare sight in a neighborhood built around quick indulgences.

Tonight I came in just before closing hours to get a matcha starter kit for my boyfriend. The person behind the counter (never got their name, but they had a buzz cut and cool glasses) was gracious, helpful and answered all my questions well. Such a great and underrated place not just to get good tea, but for a cozy getaway right on the main drag. Great service, great vibes!

This afternoon 3 good friends enjoyed relaxing hours together nestled into comfy sofas at the Capitol Tearoom on S. Broadway. Great girl time was spent over an extensive selection of individual pots of hot tea & a tower of house-made delicious English eats! This quaint hidden gem of a tearoom is highly recommended to all!

Great Holiday High Tea- we had a party of 7 and it was well coordinated and beautifully displayed. We purchased our favorite tea and will enjoy it at home!
