This afternoon 3 good friends enjoyed relaxing hours together nestled into comfy sofas at the Capitol Tearoom on S. Broadway. Great girl time was spent over an extensive selection of individual pots of hot tea & a tower of house-made delicious English eats! This quaint hidden gem of a tearoom is highly recommended to all!

Stopped by Capital Tea to pick up some tea leaves. Left with four package; Scottish Caramel, Caramel Delight, Cinnamon Orange and Cherry Vanilla. All smelled wonderful. Can't wait to try.

The customer service was great! I enjoyed the Greek salad as well. The atmosphere was whimsical. Unfortunately the tea tasted like mildly flavored boiled water and I had to ask the server for certain ingredients to boost the flavor of the chai as I have 15 years of experience in making chai.

Afternoon tea is super cute here. I enjoyed the leisure of this and the fact that you can order various teas instead of just one (Brown Hotel only allows one choice, ugh). I highly recommend this experience for anyone who enjoys tea and afternoon tea.

I had a ball coming here and having a sandwich, iced tea, and a small side soup. I also tried some of the tiny desserts with my friend and they were tasty.
