Terrible experience on 10/14/24 evening. Returned to visit this beautiful establishment (out of state) to celebrate special Bday. Arrived in the evening to start our celebration outside. When entered patio, saw few empty tables and waiter that chatted to some couple. To make sure that one small empty table was available, l patiently waited behind the brunette waiter to finish her conversation. When she finished, l politely asked her if we can sit there and grab extra chair. The waiter made a cold comment about big table in the back available. The waiter stood behind me, and started laughing and making faces behind my back in a presence of the other customers next table! It was so uncomfortable and extremely rude! As someone that grew up + worked in similar establishment, l have never encountered such a rude behavior. We finished the wine and moved to Angello's to have our dinner where our waiter Lexi was fenomenal, knowledge, and attentive. As an owner, l would want to know if my staff treat customers this way. It's very interesting that the same owner of both places has such a different service quality. What an disappointment when you travel so far to visit place you are excited about, spend $$$$ for wine, dinner and gift card, and have such an experience:/

My family and I had a great experience at Carbon. Starting by Heidi who provided exceptional service—she was incredibly attentive, friendly, and gave us fantastic recommendations! The food and wine were equally impressive. We enjoyed two bottles of Syrah from Carboy Winery, which was one of the best we’ve had in a long time. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. 10/10!”

The staff was very rude. The female bartender couldn’t have been bothered helping us get seating outside while there were barely any patrons inside or out. And the waitress was busy chatting with some friends while we were trying to get one more chair to our table. The waitress was making faces at us and laughing at us with her friends. We could not believe how unprofessional she was. No wonder that the place next door was full of people and this place was empty. We will not recommend this place to anyone. Also, I have heard about This rudeness from other people. The do not have a good reputation when it comes to the staff

Excellent service! They have options for the designated drivers as well as anyone who just loves a good drink with friends!

Wine was great. We also tried the ceviche and tuna sashimi, which were delicious.

Happy Hour is a great deal…unfortunately the service is nonexistent! Had to walk to the bar to pay…even though there were 3 tables total.

Great spot. Important note to dog owners, patio is not “dog-friendly” they have to be outside the patio fence so in order to get a table you must wait for one of those.

This place has terrible service. Completely out of touch.

I’m not a wine snob and everyone has their own personal taste when it comes to wine. However, Carboy Sarah wasn’t worth the effort. The only saving grace is the fact they offer a number of other wines that are excellent.

Carboy is the best deal in Denver! Being wine club members, this is our go-to date night spot. All of the employees there are amazing and super nice. 10/10 recommend stopping in for a glass to two!

Great spot for a drink or snack - and always company. Ayanna is such a delight of a human! I live only a couple blocks away and have had my best evening here yet thanks to Ayanna, who has been willing to listen to me fuss about the rosé and help me find a wine that is new to me but also one i enjoy. Highly recommended for great service, great snacks, and delightfully smooth wine (but try the rosé before ordering a whole glass if you’re a rosé noob like me ?)

Wine, charcuterie board, and food was 5/5. Service 1/5. We walked in and no one greeted us, didn’t notice any sign directing us to seat ourself etc. so stood there awkwardly. Finally after a few minutes a girl moved from a table she was chatting at and directed us, sat at the bar. We had a tasting and flight, soup, and a board which were all great and came out quickly. However, after the tasting and dropping off the food the servers basically ignored us. My brother came in and the 2 ladies working were polishing glasses and talking, he had to flag them down every time to order, I wanted a second glass of wine but none of them came over to offer one, etc. We were the only ones at the bar. We ended up just closing out even though we would have liked to stay and continue to order because the service was so bad. Disappointing because the wine was great, we would have bought bottles if the staff had bothered to check on us/ask etc. Recommend for the food and good wine but expect European style service
