Went in to celebrate my birthday and had a great time. Service was friendly and the place looked nice. Interesting cocktails; I enjoyed mine but can't recall much specific about it. The big drink option was something called "table side martini," which we did not try, despite the intriguing name
The cauliflower dish was exquisite, with an interesting mix of flavors. The potatoes were cut a little unevenly, so the thicker pieces were a tad undercooked. Someone in the kitchen doing prep might need a bit more practice with their knifework, or maybe to try using a mandolin.
The meat dishes were, as I would expect from a place called Carne, perfectly done. The sausage and steak dish came with a green sauce that was good enough to eat by the spoonful. Big fan. The ribs had a great char and a brighter and more viscous green chile sauce, that, while delicious, wasn't quite as good as the other one.
Sadly, that's all we tried, as we ran out of room. They brought me a birthday creme brulee with a few tart pieces of citrus embedded in the crust. I'm lactose intolerant, so I generally try to avoid things with that much cream... I instead ate the whole thing and considered licking the ramekin afterward. No regrets.
An amazing dinner, phenomenal service, fun twist on crème brûlée.

Great food, wonderful service (thanks Dani!). High energy place.
Yes, a bit loud- ask for upstairs table, it’s a little quieter.
Yes, lots of tables- not unusual.
Food- excellent- Octopussy was tender, crispy from the grill, with great tapenade
Povoleta cheese was crispy on op and really melty, the chimichurri was a great addition
The salmon special was awesome- they should add it to the regular menu!
The Palmito salad was large and tasty.
The picanho steak was outstanding! A bit of a spicy kick to it, cooked perfectly medium rare.
Finished off with the crème brûlée- light and refreshing.
We’ll be back!

Really cool atmosphere with lots of antique swag throughout! Only ended up doing some apps, which were all fine but nothing special. Will have to come back and actually try the steaks!

Amazing service (we adored our waitress Dani!) for a friend’s birthday. We were a 5-top and the perfect amount of food was suggested: 4 sides (octopussy, tiradito, green chili cheese potatoes, and risotto) and 2 mains (lamb and picanha). Incredible dishes down to the tostadas with the tiradito, although the (two) lamb lollipops could have been rarer and were smaller than expected. Picanha was cooked perfectly. Au poivre sauce was amazing but thought the chimichurri could’ve used a bit more vinegar & herbs. We were worried that the octopus might be rubbery as it was at Il Posto, but it was deliciously tender with crispy suckers. A couple of us got mocktails that are made to taste based on flavor preferences, and the bartender nailed it.
The only downside is the noise level; thankfully we were a group of loud women, but it was definitely difficult to hear our waitress and across our own table. That said, the ambience is vibrant and modern, the lighting is warm, and our water glasses never went empty. Echoing others who said the service is professional but fun.
Other things to consider: it’s unfortunately not very vegetarian-friendly and parking has become a nightmare in RiNo, so build in time to circle for a spot.

To be honest, we really wanted to like this place. Overall, the experience is just ok. The food is adequate and does have some fun ideas to it, but is then overshadowed by a cluster of packed tables. And I mean table, upon table, upon table. You are jammed in without enough room for the service staff to walk through comfortably. They are continually having to squeeze by-then causing their rear end to be in your face, or you have to lean the opposite direction to avoid it. And I’m not joking, the staff is literally shuffling between tables with their hands full. It was painful to watch. If you need to use the restroom, you have to give an ocular pat down of your surroundings to ensure you don’t crash into someone else simply by sliding out your chair. Patrons should not have to move or adjust themselves constantly to make room for the staff to simply walk by. My husband works for the state, and must know ADA guidelines. There is physically no way anyone requiring a wheelchair or any walking aid would ever be able to go into this restaurant beyond the first two tables. It’s honestly incredibly disheartening that this place sacrifices quantity vs quality. The staff was definitely friendly but the service we receive from Red Robin is frankly more on point. Happy to say we gave it a try, and happy to say we will not be going back.
Wheelchair accessibility: Absolutely horrendous. There is no way anyone requiring any sort of wheelchair or walking aid would ever be able to go more than 6 feet into this restaurant.

Great new concept from one of Denver's best chefs. Perfectly cooked meats with some amazing sauces is the name of the game here. Highlights on my first trip were the pichana as well as the tri tip. Will be back to work my way through the whole menu. Can't recommend enough!

We were excited to try this place, meeting friends we had not seen in a long time. Service and food started out good with the steak tartar, shrimp cocktail, and octopus was delicious. Cocktails were just ok, nothing special served in small glasses with a large ice cube so after a couple of sips it was gone, only about a shot of cocktail in the glass. The same was true for the main dishes the steaks and sauces were just ok nothing special considering the price. Sides were good the green chili potatoes and seasonal vegetables were good. I had ordered the whole sea bass that was absolutely terrible. The waiter asked if I wanted it deboned when it arrived at the table so I agreed. He proceed to just scape it into a pile of into tiny pieces full of tiny bones that made it impossible to eat without having a bunch of bones in each bite. Again completely unacceptable at this price point.

Food was great. Wagyu Filet Mignon was fantastic. The sauce were great. The Key Lime Pie was awesome. I got the green chile potatoes, not my fave. However, I think they just forgot the cream sauce. My buddy ordered it too and his had this amazing cheese/cream sauce. The bread service was solid.
Negatives:
It was wayyyyyy too loud.
Price was a tad high
Mixed drink was basic and $16 for maybe less than oz of alcohol.

Wow wow wow. This is the exact type of casual upscale steakhouse I am always seeking out, and Dana and her team have crushed it again!!
The food is exceptional, the drinks SCRUMPTIOUS, and the sexy moody retro vibes are on point. I was especially impressed with their service -- as a retired server, i always enjoy genuine interactions with restaurant staff, and Carne made us feel relaxed and welcome, like we were dining with old friends. What a rare feeling. I am already drooling for more 🤩

The atmosphere in Carne is cozy and made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely delectable, the drinks were outstanding, and I even got a chance to talk to the owner, Dana, who was kind and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend and I will be back next time I am in Denver!

Was very excited to try this new restaurant! My party of 4 came in last night to celebrate a birthday and Dani took GREAT care of us! All of the food was exceptional and Dani went out of her way to go the extra mile when suggesting dishes and bring our cake out with candles when we forgot to bring our own. The owner was on the line cooking during our visit and it showed, everything was cooked to perfection.
I am knocking 1 star because of the overall ambiance - space is extremely tight in this restaurant to the point that others were knocking into our table when sitting down at their own and you had to squeeze your way through a small aisle to get to the bathroom, similar to an airplane aisle. I felt like we were too close to other tables & the changing lights were also very distracting.
Overall, I will likely be back to give this place another try!
