Fantastic pizza served up via counter-service and communal seating. The namesake pie, the cart-driver, was so satisfying and high quality that the first slice instantly put this restaurant atop my favorites for pies in the Mile High City. Perfectly charred and chewy, just the right ratio across the toppings - top-tier restaurant.

Last night (12/21/24) was my first experience in the Denver-famous "Cart Driver". To say the least, I was very disappointed. My fiance and I ordered 2 'cart driver' speciality pizzas. What we received were two bland, white pizzas with tasteless sausage and dry, crunchy, tasteless kale.
We drowned the pizza in the carrot habanero hot sauce, which helped slightly, but I couldn't get over how bland and flavorless this signature Cart Driver Pizza was.
The lady at the counter was also short and did not assist us as first time customers - we received more of a 'hurry up and order i'm waiting here' vibe. Music was a throwback to teenage pop-punk middle-school days and was overall fairly obnoxious and did not fit the mood of the restaurant.
Will probably not be dining here again due to the very poor quality of food and the lackluster service.

Fantastic wood-fired pizza, plus so many other goodies! The oysters are fresh and whoever shucked them - bravo, best I’ve seen in this state. Bread & butter is a must, and there are plenty of antipasto options. The pies are surprisingly filling for their size. We got the clam this time around and it never disappoints. The crust is a perfect level of crispiness and the center is a bit doughier - aka perfect. Staff is always friendly. There is some counter and high top seating when you first enter, a few booths, and outdoor seating on warmer days. Easily walkable, or you can find free street parking. Also open late!
This is a super great place to hang out, and have some great food! We only stopped in for a pizza, but their drinks looked absolutely stellar. They have gluten free crust, and it’s pretty good! The only better I have had was in New York, so that’s saying something!! They have some great pizza options, and fun flavor combinations. We definitely will be going back!!

Lovely outdoor (dog-friendly!) back patio. Sat at the bar and had delicious cocktails, East Coast oysters, and pizza. Great, friendly service. Visiting from WI, but hope to come back!

Holy crap! I've been looking for a place like this my whole life. Oysters, pizza, beer, fernet, reasonably priced! All the things I love.
The oysters were so fresh and the pizza was phenomenal! We had the clam pizza, to die for!
