Well deserving of its praise!! We brought our huge family here & ate pretty much everything on the menu. Great atmosphere, wonderful & attentive staff. We walked in at 4 on a Friday & sat right away.

If you come for happy hour, the tinned sardines are a MUST. They come with freshly made, warm bread, incredible butter & a tomato pairing. So crazy good - we ordered 3. Their pizza dough/bread is just that good. Fluffy, airy, crisp. Delightful.

Their new squash is also tasty! A perfectly soft and sweet squash paired with goat cheese.

Pizza - the daisy is wonderful & a must!! Well balanced in toppings & flavors. We also thoroughly enjoyed the white pizza! Creamy, yet somehow refreshing.

Pasta - Nicely made pasta, al dente! The sauces themselves lean on the saltier side, so it's definitely intended for sharing and having one or two bites per person at most.

The olive oil cake dessert is so good! Lovingly paired with lemon curd to cut the fattiness.

Worth stopping by just for the bread alone.

Cart-Driver LoHi is one of those places you keep coming back to for a reason. Their craft, handmade pizzas and Italian dishes have never disappointed me. I’ve been there several times, and most visits were genuinely great. My last visit was especially good in terms of food and service, although it was a bit noisy, which is the only thing I would note.

The food itself is fantastic. Their pizza is exactly what you expect from a spot known for wood-fired pies, but their burrata salad is just as memorable, fresh and perfectly balanced.

Amazing coal fired pizzas - homemade sourdough crust is perfect. Great pasta dishes too + chicken liver mouse was amazing. Also great wine selection and craft cocktails in a quaint, charming interior. Top notch overall - we’ll be back!

Great service and really quality food. I had a server named, Jack. Was super knowledgeable about the menu and was very accommodating to our different needs. He was the man!

Our first experience at Cart-Driver and wow! Everything was great beginning to end. Our server was attentive. Drinks (cold brew martini and limecello spritz) were excellent. For dinner we split a Bucatini Carbonara and a Daisy pizza with pepperoni. The pasta was terrific it the pizza was truly outstanding. Among the best I’ve had in Colorado. Would love to share pics but once again my fork was too fast and I’ve forgotten.

We were so excited to try this place and were just completely bummed by our experience so we won’t be back. We had a 7:15 reservation made weeks in advance to which we ended up at the smallest table in the crappiest part of the room; I nor the man behind me could’ve gotten out of our chairs as they were already touching with both of us seated. As for the actual dinner service, I’m not sure if it was our server, the kitchen, or a bit of everything, but we waited over 35 mins for (1) peach pizza. Our server then asked if we wanted to order anything else to which we ordered the carbonara. 15 mins later she came over again and asked if we wanted anything else for the evening. I asked if the pasta was still coming and she didn’t realize we had ordered it. I guess she didn’t hear us. She insisted one could be made on the fly so we waited. When our check came we were graced with a $3.45 discount (15% off the carbonara). As someone who has worked in restaurants for 8 years, this was the most offensive part of the evening. Not only were we already not having the best experience waiting for both of our dishes, which our server was very aware of, but to then not completely remove the item from the tab is crazy in my opinion. $3.45 does not compensate for such a lack of service, it almost makes it worse. And as for the food, it’s good, but not worth the cost for what you’re getting. Hoped for better!
