Very nice that it is attached to the Denver downtown Courtyard. It was late with just 20 minutes to closing so I was very appreciative of the service! I just ordered an appitizer which was DEFINITELY a shareable!! There was SO much food and a generous guacamole portion as well. You also get a basket of chips & saks so way too much food for 1. It was hot and fresh even with so close to closing time which I really appreciated. Didnt indulge in a margarita but boy did they look good!

Food is really bland. Salsa is basically tomato paste. Waitress never came back after serving food.Doesn't matter what you order as it all tastes the same, like nothing.Priced way above the quality of food.

This is just a nice place with decent food and nice service. A solid experience. Stopped in after doing some other things late Sunday. It was moderately busy. Wanted a drink and desert. The server was right there to take orders. Made good suggestions for our order. Desert plate came out and it was really pretty and full of tasty treats. Drinks were good. The server attentive. The restaurant itself was pretty and visually interesting. A good experience and would like to go back for dinner or lunch at some point. Will go again.

Really power terrible... not great. At best, the food was below average. Our waitress was sweet but struggled to understand basic questions and disappeared for large amounts of time. The place was pretty much empty, maybe two tables and a couple at the bar. The best part was when someone started blasting two different types of music over the sound system at the same time. Repeatedly turning the volume up so loud it was like being in a nightclub, and then someone would turn it down. They just kept playing the first 30 seconds of random songs at insane volumes over the music already being played.

My husband and I stopped in for a Valentine's Dinner last night. While the food was fine, and our waitress was friendly, there were a few issues to note. We were offered water, said yes, and then it never came. When my beer "volcanoed" after I put my lime in, the waitress said she would bring us some napkins to wipe it up, and those never came. As in, we spent the whole dinner with one of our napkins covering the spill. Then came the "extra charges", none of which were mentioned up front. My husband ordered guacamole, which we did not understand did not come with chips. So we asked for more, and we were charged extra. When the guac came, it was a little more than a spoonful (see the picture) for $6.99 ... and it was bland. I ordered tacos, and when I asked for a couple lime wedges and sour cream (I had figured these would come with my tacos for $20), they brought some and charged us extra for both. Finally, we ordered churros for dessert. They were brought in a to-go box (odd), and when we opened them in the car, they hadn't been rolled in cinnamon and sugar. We understand if things will be extra, but tell guests up front if there will be a charge. Overall, a mediocre dinner. Took a picture of my bill because we are still in disbelief at all the charges.

Pretty good Mexican food for a reasonable (for Denver) price. Bar selection is great although the pours are a bit light for the price. Service was slow and inconsistent, although there may have been a shift change while we were here. Food was fairly standard Mexican food, good but nothing special. Much better Mexican food in Aurora in my opinion. All in all, I certainly don't regret my experience, but I can't say it left a mark on me. Likely won't return

Visiting from out of town and walked by it randomly. I could tell from the menu that this authentic Mexican menu was made with love and vision so I walked in. I sat at the bar. Met one of the owners who was very nice. He said they’d just opened last year. I had the soup and it was fantastic. Fresh ingredients and a surprise at the bottom- Rice and cheese! Delicious. Great bar with lots of choices.

Who would have guessed the best tequila bar in Denver would be tucked away here?Owner and bartender Leo has already cultivated impressive list of more than 200 tequilas, growing more than 400 soon. What’s more, he doesn’t just look at a catalog when stocking tequila. He goes to the distillery, meets the owners, and can tell you just about anything you want to know about any bottle at the bar.Adding to that, all the food is made fresh by family at the restaurant! Using recipes passed down from parents and grandparents, simply put—it is exceptional. The restaurant is nicely decorated, open, and able to handle both small and large groups. Of course, if you have the chance, I recommend sitting at the bar and chatting with other guests and Leo!

My partner and I stumbled upon this place one night when we were out and about. Not only does it have a unique and chill aesthetic, but the customer service feels so personal and genuine. We were lucky enough to meet a co owner, Leo, and he told us a little about the history of the restaurant that he started with his father, and their passion for tequila! It made the experience all the more personal and the more fun. Def recommend.
