I was eating at this restaurant one evening when it was packed with people. Lindsay waited on us and was so attentive while all were running around frantic. Please request her when there she is the best

Everything we ate was excellent. I would say the two standouts were the pasticcio and the rabbit gnocchi. Definitely worth it to order the crostata dessert when deciding on the main course.
Wonderful meal and wine at happy hour. Server was Lindsay and she was great.

What a place. We were from out of town and a local guide put us onto Cattivella. Absolutely top shelf. Food A Grade, Service A Grade, Venue A Grade. I travel a lot of different countries around the world for work and Cattivella is in the top five of restaurants overall I have eaten. Cannot recommend this establishment enough. Do yourself a favour and get a booking. I will be sure to have this as one of our local go to restaurants when we return.
Hands down our favorite restaurant. Best way to celebrate my birthday! The food is incredible and our whole party couldn’t believe how amazing the Old Fashions were. Never miss an opportunity to order the Rabbit Gnocchi. We are obsessed with BEN who makes the whole experience even better - cannot say enough about how much we love their best server!!

Fine dining prices for mediocre quality at best, in a location that is partially quaint in its main area, and absolutely horrible in the converted veranda. No tablecloths. Overcooked pasta alle vongole, the pizza tasted burned as clearly the bottom of the wood fired oven hasn't been cleaned for a while, $17 for a small glass of Nebbiolo, mashed potatoes tasted like the ones from a cafeteria. The tiramisu was good but $16 for a smaller portion is quite the insult... all meanwhile the restaurant smelled like sewage... they should make their happy hour prices the actual prices, as they would reflect better the value you get from this restaurant. We will definitely not be back.

This is a casual but very nice restaurant with excellent food and a diverse but economical Italian wine list. The portions are reasonable but not huge! The tiramisu was unbelievable excellent!! It was also easy to get a reservation and the adjacent parking lot is a major advantage compared to many other Italian restaurants in the Denver area.
We have been going to Cativella since it opened and always bringing new people to enjoy it with us. Great food great service as usual
Cattivella is a gem. My wife and I had dinner there last evening. Our server Vitellii was awesome. He suggested and sampled a few wine for us to select from. He also recommended several dishes across the menu items. We had mussels as an app and shared a grilled romain ceaser salad. Both we excellent the grilled Caesar is a must try. We shared three dishes. The special was Frutti de Mare and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The seafood mix of shrimp, scallops and fish combine with house made spaghetti. Perfect. We also had a happy hour portion of Pasta alla Zozzona. This dish was creamy but light with house made rigatoni and blended red white sauce. It was great too. Finally we shared a happy hour Pasticcio. This dish is super rich and hearty. Great blend of flavor and meatballs with a tortellini base. Mouth watering. In closing this place is fantastic and you must give it a try if in the Dever area.

This was our 2nd time here. The first time was excellent. This time not so much. Our food was okay, but not as flavorful as before. Our waitress ignored us until we were forced to speak up and stop her as she went by us without stopping, again. Given that the experience was not as good as before and that its located nowhere near where we live, I doubt we'll be back.

I was staying on the east side of the city so I could be close to the airport, and everyone kept warning me there weren’t many good food options over here. I finally decided on this place, and I AM SO EXCITED to go back next time I’m in town! Ben and Lindsey were precious baby angel unicorns who helped me narrow down my choices. I went with the sage butternut squash gnocchi and it was delicious. I thought it would be too heavy, but it wasn’t. I do have leftovers, but I will have them for breakfast and nobody can stop me.
