This place always hits the spot . Coming from Austin there were alot of Italian spots but nothing that really stood out . But here the food is really good . Definitely not what I expected to find within a small shopping center in a suburb. The regular menu is great, and they always have an amazing rotating specials selection with excellent service. Would highly recommend going out of your way for a trip to the suburbs to check this place out .

We hosted a dinner at Cattivella for a group of 50 people, and everything was exceptional. The event ran smoothly from start to finish, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate a variety of allergies and dietary restrictions with care and attention.
Cattivella handled our group with such grace and professionalism—we’re truly grateful. Their service, flexibility, and warm hospitality made our evening a success. Highly recommend for group events or any special occasion!

I would've given 5 stars except we sat outside and the singers/speakers were way too loud and sometimes not very good, so it really distracted our ambience and enjoyment of really great food. And the umbrellas don't bend, so the sun was pretty intense on 2/4 of us too. If we'd sat inside, it would've been fine. The rabbit gnocchi was amazing. The calamari was just okay. The lava cake was disappointing because the center wasn't liquid, just slightly softer than the outside. But we all enjoyed being together, regardless of the hot sun and too loud not great music.
We had a party of 10 people.
Calamari was dry and with a strange taste. Burrata delicious, goat cheese figs pita, delicious. We had 5 different main plates, everything delicious. Pistachio calzone was without flavor.

Had a lovely time during their happy hour which is 5 pm to 6 pm every day. I had their Cattivella pizza, the fig flatbread, bolognese, and calamari.
The Cattivella pizza and pasta were my favorite part of the meal. The service was great and they have high chairs. I would get the pizza again.

What an awesome experience! We researched Italian Restaurants in Denver and decided on Cattivella - and the food, atmosphere, and staff were all top-notch. Recommend the pasta dishes (homemade pasta) and we shared the Italian Cream Cake - delicious! Mojito was the best I've ever had! Will definitely be back!
Perfect dining experience. Vitali as Head Server/sommelier guided us to a delightful selection of cocktails to wine accompanying a beautifully presented charcuterie followed by decadent boar shank over polenta (others in our group had prime rib and fish dishes that were all loved). Finished the evening with a lava cake and the best espresso martinis. This is just such a wonderful restaurant, the kind of place where you can enjoy your friends and conversations while the amazing staff skillfully keep everything flowing from a divine kitchen. Five stars!

Food was fresh, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Service was great! Highly recommend Cattivella.
The grilled Cesar salad is amazing! Top notch and gracious service excellent atmosphere a great place to meet friends for dinner. And even though we didn’t order dessert as a group, they brought out a platter with incredible tiramisu on a spoon for just a little taste of what we were missing. I did feel a slight tinge of regret, but it made me enjoy that spoonful so much more.

We enjoyed a private pizza class with Chef Elise. She is clearly an outstanding chef, evidenced by the sparkle in her eye when she describes meals she creates. She loves making people happy by sharing her culinary creations. She is an equally exceptional teacher. Her attention to detail and thoughtful explanations, encouraging the why, why, why helped us refine our home pizza making skills. The class exceeded our expectations and was incredibly joyful. And we came home with amazing pizza! Can’t wait to practice our skills with friends. Highly recommend.

We came here for a second time for our anniversary. We sat at the chefs counter, which was fun to watch everything being made. Everything was great…..except for the risotto with my steak. It was woefully undercooked. Sorry, that kinda ruined my dinner
