I have the chicken fried steak for breakfast! You get a great deal of food.. but I didn't expect to have my food completely smothered in gravy the gravy was horrible that's what made my food taste so horrible. The gravy was real pasty like they tried to hide the flour with some type of flavoring. I truly think the food would have been better if it was not disguised with gravy... I really thought I was going to come to a great Greek restaurant that served great food only to be let down. What's even really sad I got sick the very next morning it was food poisoning from the food that I had the morning before that I bought at Chef Zorbas. I was going to give you a try again but never will I step foot in that place again!
What a shame you get all these great reviews but you refuse to respond to my review!

Greek salad and dressing was delicious. I got the Char-grilled chicken plate chicken was dry and side French onion soup was okay it had a weird flavor. Not as good as reviews make it seem.

Our generous portions offer exceptional value. The food is superb; however, please be aware that parking may be limited. Save room for dessert!

I go to Zorba's often on Saturday or Sunday's for breakfast. We were a party of 4 that went tonight after the Denver Botanical Gardens Christmas light show. It was disappointing on many levels. A member of the staff stated that the Botanical Gardens were sending them business when they only had 2 waitresses and 1 bus boy. Not your customers problems. Ordered fries and requested to please deliver them hot as they never are hot on past visits. The waitress informed us that she could not guarantee that the fries would be hot as they were too busy. I then said forget the fries on my order. When the orders came for the our party of 4 at dinner 1 dinner order was missing. They couldn't figure that out until we identified we were missing an entrée. The manager came out and asked what had happened and what she might do. As requested, I started to explain what had happened and the manager immediately started to interrupt on the explanation that she herself requested. Had to request water each time we wanted our glass refilled. At this point without going into further comments it is time to take a break from this establishment!

I’m very disappointed with my visit to Chef Zorba’s. The patty melt I ordered had rye bread that was obviously toasted on a very dirty grill. The bread tasted HORRIBLE, like “old” and “greasy.” The burger meat was meh, ok, nothing to write home about. The french fries were so overdone and crispy, they didn’t taste like potato at all, just crunchy hard stuff.

Zorba’s says they’ve been around since 1979, and in the same location since 2004. It is my professional opinion that it’s time to clean everything in the kitchen, from top to bottom, then make it a regular habit, doing a deep clean once a week at minimum. This includes thoroughly cleaning the grill and replacing fry oil.

Not once did any of the staff ask me how my meal was, or I’d have told them all of this to their face.

A neighborhood staple! We love this diner for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The service is great and we love the laid back, family-friendly atmosphere. Their gyro omelette is fantastic. For dinner we order the Greek appetizer plate for two and often have leftovers for the next day. They have a daily soup of the day and their desserts are amazing. Highly recommend grabbing a booth, seat at the bar, or a table on their outdoor patio if the weather is nice!

Spanakopita not very good. Lemon rice soup bland. Tahini was basic.

Just went there this morning and had the worst service ever waited 10 minutes before anybody came by to take our order we asked where server was and right away heavy set girl with glasses said this is Rachel's section she's busy and the girl that it replied had an attitude about it we waited the waitress came by and from there it just is terrible and on our way out even the manager the older guy said whatever on our way out and to me that was just disgusting I was just like okay you don't know what happened I'm not sure what your team told you but I have been going there for about two decades but I will not be back I will definitely go to rhe restaurant Syrupy. I've even donated money so they can do meals to the elderly in the past several times but now it just leaves a bad feeling about what I experienced I knew going to the manager it would fall deaf so my best way is just to write a review

I was on a bike ride and on my way home saw this place. Decided I would order food there later when I ended up getting hungry.

I got the Gyro Melt, Chicken Breast Pita, Baklava, and Carrot Cake.

The Gyro Patty Melt and Carrot Cake were fantastic. They both were well seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

The Chicken Breast Pita was the dryest and blandest thing I've eaten in a while. The tomatoes within the pita were "roughly chopped" and about 2" by 1" which, along with the dry thick cuts of chicken, a pain to eat.

Worst of all, the baklava was uncooked and inedible. The dough was raw and it was swimming in a pool of liquids.

Wonderful restaurant in the middle of a 100+ year-old uptown residential neighborhood. Welcoming staff, pleasing aesthetics, warm atmosphere, fair prices, delicious grilled chicken Caesar salad! I lunch there with my sister who has Alzheimer's, and the staff is always incredibly kind and patient. We've been there several times and will continue to return.
