When I ate there the food was terrible and the managers were rude to us.

My wife and I have been regulars at Cherry Creek Grill for 20 years. Last week I was told it was a corporate decision to longer offer the French Dip without a bun. As a person with celiac disease this is not an option for me. When I contacted the corporate office I was told this decision was made based on presentation. I hope the presentation of MY food is worth losing a loyal and regular customer over. This is simply not an acceptable answer for me. Their lack of accommodating people with dietary restrictions says a lot about how they feel and treat their customers.

Cherry Creek Grill delivers a consistently excellent dining experience. The food is flavorful, well-prepared, and made with high-quality ingredients, with every dish feeling thoughtfully executed. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. On top of that, the service is attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly, which really elevates the entire experience. Highly recommended.

We had a very disappointing experience at Cherry Creek Grill.

My husband and I brought our two daughters (ages 2 and 4) to celebrate his recent work promotion. We were seated without issue, our order was taken, and nothing suggested families were unwelcome.

Shortly after being seated, however, a manager began repeatedly approaching our table every time our two-year-old made a brief noise louder than speaking. This happened three times during the meal. Each time we were asked if we “needed anything,” but by the third interruption it was clear the visits were not about service - they were monitoring our child’s behavior.

When we expressed that the repeated interruptions were making us uncomfortable, the situation escalated. A second manager approached and began listing what our daughters were allegedly doing wrong, including our two-year-old standing on the booth seat (she is too small to otherwise sit above the table) and commentary about how our four-year-old was holding and lightly tapping her fork.

When I explained that our daughter is two years old and that we were doing our best, the response was that it “doesn’t matter how old they are.” That statement was particularly concerning and reflected a lack of understanding or empathy.

We were not seated near other guests, and no one to our knowledge complained. Our server appeared visibly uncomfortable throughout the exchange.

We were later told the restaurant is “not recommended for small children,” If families are not welcome, that policy should be made clear before seating guests, not enforced through repeated interruptions and public correction.

We left feeling judged and unwelcome, and what was meant to be a celebration was completely overshadowed.

After sending a detailed email to management, we received no response.

If your establishment prefers not to accommodate families with young children, that is your choice - but it should be communicated clearly and respectfully.

This was a great experience for my birthday. The facility was very clean, the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were super kind, helpful, and upbeat. Everything my family ate was superb. I had a cheeseburger and added bacon, cornbread bites, cold shrimp appetizer, and a coke in a glass bottle. I wanted to rob them for their cornbread but I restrained myself.

For dessert I ordered an ice cream oreo sandwich luxuriously surrounded by espresso chocolate. I almost consumed it all while the candle was still burning. I know my priorities. I went home happy.

The food was deeply disappointing. The corn was bland and poorly prepared, the chicken was extremely basic, and while the meat was acceptable, it was nothing special. The wine selection was good — but that alone cannot save the experience.
What truly made this visit unacceptable was how they treated families. Even though they allow children inside, at 4:00 PM they told my kids to stop laughing. Not screaming. Not running. Laughing. That alone speaks volumes about the atmosphere and the attitude toward guests.
If you have children, or simply value feeling welcomed, do yourself a favor and choose somewhere else.
Terrible experience from start to finish.

Very mid food that’s way overpriced. Staff is super rude and acts like they’re serving at the most fancy prestigious restaurant in the world.

This is a chain, in this case an excellent thing as I found them from the Honor Bar, Montecito's website, where I ate many times while working in the area, and having realized there were a couple of their restaurants in the area, we made a point of stopping for lunch on the way home to Boulder past this location. Would the quality be as high? First, this has a Denver address, but is in Cherry Creek, some way south of downtown Denver. Free parking, in a lot behind the restaurant or on street, is available for two hours. They do not take reservations, but a call ahead will give you a good idea of availability and eating at the bar solo or as a couple works well. On to the food - it's American bistro in style, interesting appetisers, quality sandwiches and small selection of entrees. One thing to be aware of is that the sandwiches can be rather tall - as an example, if you order the chicken sandwich, ask for the slaw to be served on the side. The staff are very professional, so quiz them on what you're thinking of having and see if they have any other suggestions along the same lines. A big draw in their Montecito location for me was the excellence of their wines by the glass. Exactly the same experience in this location, albeit with different wines. Overall, excellent, ideal for solo dining or as a couple.

I’ve been a loyal Cherry Creek Grill customer for over 10 years, often bringing colleagues, family, and clients here. My most recent visit was humiliating enough that I won’t be back. After being seated, I was publicly corrected by a staff member over my hat in front of other diners—no shade or alternative offered, just an aggressive, performative call-out. Service went downhill from there (sadly the usual since new management): basic things like water were ignored, staff smirked when I raised concerns, and multiple employees hovered and stared instead of helping. The manager dropped our food off at the table without a word or eye contact, making it clear guests aren’t valued here. What used to be polished service now feels dismissive and discriminatory. To make matters worse, I emailed corporate guest relations just under a month ago with full details—no acknowledgment, no response. For a restaurant that built its reputation on hospitality, Cherry Creek Grill has lost its standards. I strongly discourage anyone from dining here until they relearn the basics: respect, service, and accountability.
