Friendly service
Lunch 7/23/24
I got the incorrect food and chick-fil-a staff really did a great job at making it right.
Super fast, friendly staff
This particular stop at this particular restaurant was not up to par, mostly due to the poor service. The young lady who took our order was flat, unwelcoming and appeared bored. When our order was delivered to us at the table, a drink was missing. I went back to this young lady at the counter and asked if she could get it for me. She shrugged and then apparently immediately forgot my request. I had to ask three different employees before the drink was finally fetched and handed to me. This is very uncharacteristic of Chick-fil-A, whose service is usually energetic, bubbly and spot on. I hope this was an anomaly. We love the place and will certainly be back!
Remodel was to get rid of the kid play area so we won’t be back. Mobile ordering is a great perk with kids and service was pretty consistent but you know, I only do fast food because I have toddlers.
Vegetarian options: The only vegetarian option has dairy.

The food here has gone downhill since the beginning of 2024. The fries are rarely good anymore, especially recently. So dry, so hard... So mealy. Rarely will I get fresh fries now, and even when they are fresh they taste like oil that's gone a bit bad. Not even chick fil a sauce can save them. At least the chicken and lemonade is still good!

We’ve always had good food here, but we’re really bummed the kid play area is gone now:( I know they probably needed to remove it for more seating, but we’re honestly less likely to come now that the kids can’t play after eating.
We ordered our salads, frozen diet lemonades, then paid. We picked up our order and drove away when we noticed our drinks were not what we ordered. We pulled back around to have our order corrected and they wanted to an upcharge us. I asked for our drinks to be exchanged without the upcharge, but the manager said no and gave me the number to corporate. It wasn't about the drinks it's the fact this place was so hard up they needed my $4 instead of admitting my order was taken wrong and accept the responsibility. I left the drinks and recieved my money back. I didn't know Chick-fil-A is like this. Anyone else have a similar shared experience?

The customer service at this location was incredibly disappointing. I visited today and unfortunately, Tonya was the one who approached my car. She didn't greet me with a simple "hello" or "how are you"—just immediately asked for my name for the order. Its pretty clear that courtesy seems to be a thing of the past at fast food places. I started placing my order, but I was on a phone call with a client. I had muted the call to order, but needed to respond to my client who was speaking and ask her to please give me a minute. so I asked Tonya to please wait one moment. Instead of understanding, she rolled her eyes and made an annoyed noise.
When I unmuted my phone to speak with my client and ask for a quick moment, Tonya raised her voice and loudly asked if I was ready to continue my order. I politely asked my client to hold for a moment, but before I could finish, Tonya again, very loudly, asked if I wanted a drink or not. At that point, I ended the call. I was just so frustrated by Tonya’s unprofessional behavior. There wasn’t a line behind me, so I wasn’t holding up the service in any way. I had been respectful and patient with her, yet her attitude was dismissive and rude.
After I finished my call, Tonya smiled—like she was pleased to have embarrassed me or something. The whole interaction felt very uncomfortable and strange. Then, when I asked if someone else could assist me, she bowed towards me, laughed, and said, “gladly.” She proceeded to talk into her microphone, pointing at my car and laughing with others. When I finally spoke to the manager, he acted as though he had no idea what had happened. He even claimed that Tonya wasn’t speaking to him through the mic and seemed dismissive of the situation. When I asked him to address it, he just asked me what I wanted and said he could talk to her, but that he didn’t know the full situation.
It’s honestly baffling that he would lie about something so obvious. I’ve been to this location many times, but after today, I’ll be taking the extra drive to either the Colorado Blvd or Green Valley location. It’s really unfortunate because this is the only location in Northfield, but the experience was bad enough that I won’t be returning.
