This place was great! Really really good food. Very good prices, great portions, left feeling very satisfying and not overly full. Chicken was moist and flavorful, the grilled cabbage bed was also great.

Food was okay. $28 for two meals with drinks is a hard pill to swallow. The portions are small but plated well. Maybe that’s why it’s a “Japanese” and not a Chinese restaurant. Not really worth it and kinda disappointed cause the previous reviews really made it seem like a slam dunk. Nice staff though.

This place is a joke they deceive you with photo's of larger plate with more food but really only give you half of what you see! For example shrimp yakitori shows 5-6 shrimp but you only receive 2-3 small shrimp for $5+ extremely ovef priced! Don't recommend stay away from this place!!!

Heads up if you've been coming here for 8 years like I have, for to-go orders they now drizzle the katsu sauce on the katsu chicken instead of putting it in a to go container like they use to. So if you live 30+ min away from the restaurant like I do, the sauce will absorb into the chicken and will become more like a dry marinade than a sauce. I hope they change back to putting the sauce on the side.

After living near this place for untold years we finally went based on the strength of the other reviews. 100% correct. Simple food done excellently. The only problem, if it is one, is that there's very little seating. We got ours to go and it was still fantastic.

Came in after getting my nails done next door. Was so blown away by how good their food was! I’ve been looking for a spot like this for years. Their tofu is perfectly crispy and soft, the veggies were so tender, and the portions were exactly right for a meal that doesn’t leave you in a food coma but fills you up. Hidden gem.
