We love Cholon so much. We came about 4 years ago when we first visited Denver. Now, every time we come into town it is a MUST. I loved the french onion soup dumplings so much. You have to get those. Additionally, we tried the steak with cornbread (i think it was a special), and it was delicious! I love this place and will always make a point to visit when in town.
It was a crazy busy night downtown Denver. The Paul McCartney concert, an Avalanche game and something going on at Union Station. The restaurant was packed. All the staff from the hostess to our server and all the bus people were hustling. Good attitudes. Friendly. And the food was excellent. We shared several appetizers. The accompanying sauces and dips for the dumplings the spring rolls were perfect. I could hear diners around me telling their first time friends that anything...
I live out of state but been here several times since 2019. I am not usually a fan of “modern Asian fusion” but I can't get enough of the French onion soup dumplings! Also the donuts! There were a couple misses this time with what my friends ordered but overall still good. And the service is wonderful. I loved that someone came out and described the Kaya toast and how it's made. Thank you for still being a great place for dinner!
