“I didn't think to look at the reviews prior to going for takeout, but I did while waiting for my food. Oh.. Was I concerned that my food would be terrible, and I just spent over $60+ with tip on two dishes and a couple of sides. Service was good. I wasn't offered water while I waited, so that was a minus. Checked all food before I left to make sure everything I ordered was in the bag. Got home, and found the food to be absolutely amazing. When you can close your eyes after a taste, you know it's good. I am a foodie, I know good. So you can trust that I am giving an honest review. We enjoyed the fried fish and the sancoxho. As they say, this meal hit the spot. Woke up looking to finish my left overs. If the previous bad reviews are real, the owner has stepped it up a notch. For us, the taste, and the amount of food for the price was great. We will be back.“

“I’m going to give my honest review. I was born in Colombia and I’m very familiar with the cuisine. Not all the menu items are good—the hot dogs are delicious and the burgers are very tasty. However, we ordered the picada once and it was awful: the meat was dry and didn’t taste fresh. We’ve also ordered burgers twice; today, the burger was noticeably smaller than usual, which was very disappointing.
Overall, the food can be good, but consistency needs to improve. When I order the same item, I expect it to be the same quality and size as before—not something much smaller. I’ll most likely come back because some of their items are very good, but the price should match the size and quality. And please, take the picada off the menu if it can’t be done right. A proper Colombian picada is out of this world, and what you served wasn’t a fair representation.
Overall, I like this spot—I just wanted to give some honest feedback.“
