We walked in, weird vibe, cops and stuff... Anyway, we sat down at the bar, I asked the bartender for a *name brand Tequila, he offered up that there was a tequila that I might enjoy better. Sounds nice, "Sure, sounds great" I said. This guy proceeds to pour me an El Tesorro tequila (I think), and unfortunately, the bottle empties before the 2-ounce measurement.... So, bartender looks for another bottle of the suggested tequila.... I'm talking with my fiancé, enjoying the nice atmosphere... then I see this guy, reach down into the well, take the well tequila, and splash the remaining volume into my glass! Let me take a poll here: Who here thinks that mixing two tequilas, one high end, one well into one tequila rocks is okay? And if so, not telling customer? I didn't say a thing, but wasn't impressed with paying full price and him not owning up to the move, and then this mother-fucker has the balls, while on my way out, to ask me "How was the El Tosorro?" Glad I kept my cool, but bartender, next time... I see you, do better, there are a lot of former bartenders out there, you just violated the rules. Feel lucky my girl made me let it go. Too bad - cool bar, shitty staff.

It was my first time visiting Denver, Colorado. And I was taken to see Union Station, since we came there very late all café places were closed or far away and restaurants needed reservation, so we went to see this place and Oh Boy! This place was amazing. The server Jeremiah W is the best server I've ever met! ? The way he treated all of us was next level professional, elegant, and he made us feel welcomed, very understanding, and a fun guy! Talk about the drinks that he served us. They were not only beautiful but also very good, we all got virgin drinks. I will definitely visit this place again. Recommend everyone to visit this place for sure! It's definitely worth it.

Riley, Courtney and Wolfe were fantastic bartenders! They definitely made our bar experience worthwhile. We were admittedly quite difficult, and they still helped us navigate the menu and come to a conclusion on some of the most delicious drinks we’ve had in some time. Can’t wait to be back ?

Absolutely top notch service and top notch spirits. My bartender was Moss (perhaps very incorrect with the spelling) but his knowledge behind the bar was top tier.

Despite how amazing Trevor and Camille and the drinks were, our server/mixologist left such a bad taste in our mouths, we likely won't return. He told members of our party "no" after they placed their orders with no explanation so they had to ask if he was kidding or not. (He was not kidding) He also showed openly his annoyance at the individual who didn't order a drink and made light of another's alcohol allergy. When asked if we could get a check to leave, instead of kindly educating that Cooper Lounge doesn't split checks, he curtly asked if we'd all want to split. Overall, we'd have responded well to kindness and encouragement to order something more fun but were unmotivated to do so due to this attitude. It was the bearded brunette man.

The atmosphere here is incredible. It is a beautiful building. However, the cocktails, while good, are priced extremely high for what you get. Nothing special, but priced in the $20-30 range.I also went recently had the rudest, most condescending waiter I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Everyone else was lovely, but he was dismissive, rude, and pretentious. He was bad enough by himself that I don't think I will be returning. I can find better cocktails with more knowledgeable, more polite staff in the area.

Amazing spot for holidays, get-togethers with friends, or a date spot!Kid-friendliness: This is not a kid-friendly location. It’s an upscale dining space.

We’ve been coming here for years and won’t be back. Besides the drinks being below average and highly overpriced, the service is appalling. Our group of 10 collectively agreed that the waiter we had was the rudest waiter we’ve ever had anywhere. Completely pretentious, condescending, and disrespectful. He talked down to all of us like we were stupid, refused to be helpful at all, and over the course of almost 3 hours it took at least 30 minutes to get a drink. In the bathroom line, other patrons were collectively discussing how awful of an attitude this waiter had and what a horrible experience we all had. Such a shame as this venue is gorgeous and used to be a favorite. So disappointing and honestly offensive how rude this person was to us. Will be taking our business elsewhere.

definitely need a reservation to get in. we checked in at 6 PM and were told a 45 minute wait and that we’d get a text when our table was ready. we went back at 7 without having received a text to see how close we were. the hostess said she wasn’t sure and that she had to seat her 7:30 table before seating us. that’s okay….but you could’ve said that an hour before. meanwhile, we were offered a standing table in the corner multiple times, which we honestly thought was offensive to suggest as a dining spot. we were really hoping to get in but in the end it was just a waste of time.

Nice place but very uncomfortable seating--a bench and a low sofa for five people. It was very cramped. The food is okay but very overpriced. Beautiful views looking out over Union station. Reminded me a bit of Grand Central station in New York.

We had a reservation! I requested a high top table! We arrived a little early to find that there were several large parties that were not leaving their tables! We had to wait.No problem, however after 1/2 hour of waiting we asked hostess and she did apologize that these tables were not leaving, and she was sure they would leave soon!!!No they did not leave and we continued waiting!!!Finally after 40 minutes of waiting she sat us.To our huge dismay, she sat us In the very very back by the exit hall to bathrooms and hotel rooms! There was a big crowd waiting on that side of lounge too!!Anyway, she sat us on the back side with a low table and a bench for my guests to sit on!!Since it was so crowded, we could not even sit on the bench , as so many people were standing there waiting to get in.?It was not at all what I requested!!I specifically requested a high top table, not Sitting low and looking at peoples legs! Ridiculous and Rude of her to sit us there ~ the worst table in Cooper Lounge!WE LEFT!After almost 1 hour to get to this point, and there was no way to enjoy conversation or food or drink as we were sitting low to ground & basically in a waiting area of crowds and legs and butts were our view.I have been to Cooper Lounge Every year for years when visiting family In Denver, this was the worst experience and basically spoiled our holiday gathering! Shame on you Cooper Lounge. You should have a roped off area where people waiting are not standing on top of the people at the very low tables! Those tables in the back should at least be high tables to avoid claustrophobia!! Thank you cooper lounge for ruining our holiday evening!!

Gorgeous venue, superlative cocktails, condescending service. With drinks at $30 a pop apparently we were paying a premium for hipster attitude straight out of Williamsburg. Rather than helping us choose drinks we were treated to an oddly sniffy back and forth that nearly put us off the whole experience. To be fair it was just the one guy. Other waitresses who approached us throughout the night were all wonderful, and even if the pricing is on the brink of the insane, the drinks really were very good.

I really love this place. It's such an upper class vibe with amazing ambience. The atmosphere is so fun, interesting to be in Union Station. People watching is quite an adventure as you have all phases of life at the Station. The drinks were great! One of the best cosmos I've ever had and that's saying a lot for a pretty simple drink.I have already rebooked our reservation for next week when I'm down town next.I RECOMMEND MAKING A RESERVATION! Super worth it. I have tried coming here on a whim and it was a 2 hour wait. Seating is great and versatile for small or larger parties of 8 if you reserve ahead of time. Our server was Matt who was a great, attentive, kind server who kept it classy throughout our whole time.

I love the ambiance, I love the food and beverage. However, I recently tried to organize a small but important pitch meeting for work and for 2 weeks my emails went unanswered. I finally had to go in for anyone to give me the time of day, and by then we were 4 days out from the meeting. I'd wanted to organize a special themed menu, and drinks (which Wolf, the bartender was happy to help with), but the leadership team just wouldn't respond. So I built it myself. Only to finally get a response 20 minutes before the reservation that they no longer offered one of the menu items (pulled from their website), and the pretty menus I'd gone to extra efforts to print at Office Depot on heavy paper were moot. Thankfully it was in Canva, and they edited on the fly upon my arrival, but again, not on the special paper that matched my other documents. Cooper Lounge is great if you need a spot for happy hour, but don't recommend if you're trying to plan anything special.
