I brought in a friend who’s seen hard times who was minding her own business waiting in line with me for a cup of coffee and they approached her asking what she was doing there. She felt so dehumanized she cried. This wont be a sticking point for most people to get a cup of coffee and I understand that. But I won’t patron a place that penalizes being different and doesn’t share my values.

Excellent coffee shop! Great coffee at a decent price, service was kind and prompt, all questions were answered. The pourover brews are amazing!

Very chill atmosphere. Staff is always super friendly. Even gave me a coupon when I had to wait for them to grind a bag of beans that I purchased. I really like their croissants and regular coffee is choice. The 🥐 even can in this lovely little tote. Highly recommend.

Incredible coffee and beans. I had an anarobeic natural pour over that I enjoyed, and their pastries are quite good too. Only downside is it is pricey

These guys are super cool.

If you are an espresso drinker try the specialty espressos. You'll pay about 2X what you'd normally pay for a standard doubleshot @ a specialty shop but it's worth it.

I love the coffee at Corvus. I have been coming here for years, I buy their beans for my at home espresso machine and I also will sometimes stop in for a latte. Over the last few years, the service has really gone down hill. There was a time I was stopping in almost every morning for a latte. 90 percent of the time I use the order ahead function, and I really appreciate that they offer that service. It used to be that I would walk in 7-10 minutes after ordering and the drink would be at the bar. Over the last year or two, the time it takes them to get the order ahead orders out has slowly been increasing. I never really felt too annoyed about it, I get it especially when they are busy.

But this morning felt particularly egregious. I ordered a single latte ahead and it took me ten minutes to get there. When I got there, there were two people working and not many people there waiting and no one in line. I waited an additional ten minutes in the store, for a total of twenty minutes for a single latte. During this time, another employee began their shift for a total of three people behind the bar. The employee who had just walked in was clearly trying to get things moving but the main barista did not seem to care how delayed the orders were and was conversing and taking her time making the drinks. I never complain about service, and I tend to be incredibly lenient because I understand that it is incredibly taxing and difficult to work in the service industry. But I feel compelled to write this review because I feel the service has really gone downhill. Twenty minutes for an order ahead latte is beyond the scope of what is reasonable. If it had been packed in there I would have understood but it just wasn't.

Additionally, they used to have much better service in the sense that if they made a mistake with your drink or you had to wait a very long time, they would give a free drink card and their apologies. There was not even an acknowledgment this morning that it took them 20 minutes to make my latte. Additionally, the order was wrong, adding to my frustration. After many years of not only buying coffees and beans from corvus but also telling everyone I know that it's the best shop in Denver, just not sure I can continue to support, at least not this location.

My partner & I have been coming to this location for years. We always order the New Orleans drink. In the last 6 months, we've stopped coming as much (and 1 of us no longer orders the new orleans) because they've stopped all quality check on flavor.

I'd say 85% of the time when we get our New Orleans drink, it has NO sweetener in it. The drink is pretty much 3 ingredients, so I'm not sure how they're consistently missing the sweetener, but it's a $8 drink, so I expect at least for it to taste right.

I know Corvus knows the recipe bc the Rino & Arvada location makes me correctly every time...

I'd *love* if yall maybe started making the drinks properly especially as you increase prices multiple dollars every year.
