Bartenders are awesome. Atmosphere is fun. DJ has literally no idea what music to play that country people dance to. I was here last Thursday, and they didn't even play music until 10:30, then DJ showed up and played aweful music. I'm back again and the music is still not what people dance to. Get a DJ that knows the country dancing crowd and listens to them...if you Edit: Whoever the DJ is tonight, 8/12/17, should be the resident DJ. He's played music I have never heard here, and it's awesome! Edit: 10/5/17 The worst DJ as of yet; no country for an hour, but Papa Roach and Lincoln Park back to back. Edit: 9/13/2019 Well, the Lounge closes on the 29th. I wish I could say they learned from their customers input, but listening to the 4th Shania Twain song of the night, I have no faith. I hope Whiskey Row takes notes and makes the changes necessary to be successful with its target market. Thanks for the memories anyways Cowboy Lounge.

Well went tonight to meet a Bumble date. Guy says he knows the DJ upstairs (which he did and the light guy downstairs) and says we can go upstairs through a back entrance his friend has said we could use. He lets me go first. Some random security guy comes through the curtain shoved me against a wall and bruised my arm then kicks me out of the bar calling me names the whole time. Fine bar I guess just be careful of the employee assault. Seriously y'all get a hold of your security. Gunna hurt someone more seriously then a bruised arm on a chick in a skirt.

Horrible place, don't recommend if you are of a certain ethnicity, as they may turn you away.

The bouncer here is the most pretentious bouncer over encountered since i've been to denver. He acted like he was in charge of thhe place and he sweared me and my friends out of the bar. i would 100% never recommend this place to anybody if i had the choice i would rate it 0/10 instead of 1/5. Worst Bar in denver since over been here.

I have been coming to this place for awhile now and I have to say it is going downhill fast and oddly enough it's not because of the staff, or the music, or the drinks. It's the people that come here. I was there Saturday night with my husband having a great time when all of a sudden I walk into the women's restroom to find a half naked girl changing her shirt because she vomited all over herself. So I leave and come out and as we're walking back to the dance floor, my husband says "watch out there's throw up all over the floor" they cleaned it up, fine whatever, but the bathroom was still a mess. An hour or so later I go back into the restroom and what do I see? A stall that has puke all over the dang thing. I mean I don't even think the girl got any of it in the toilet. So I walk right back out, grab my drink from my husband, dump it and we leave because at that point I'm done. I've seen enough throw up for one night. So my message is to all the women and men who visit this place- know your freaking limit, if you feel like you're going to puke, STOP DRINKING!! You are ruining this place for everyone else. Y'all are way too old to be throwing up in bars and making others clean up your mess, even if you think it's "their job".

Kinda hit or miss! I've had some great experiences here with very fun times with great upbeat country music and rock, then other nights where the music is not the best. Still always end up here with I'm downtown, hoping for the best lol also I suggest going after 11pm or else it's super lonely.

This place is not a country bar. They played 2 or 3 country songs over the course of a few hours. The majority of the music was rap and hip hop. I asked the DJ to play more country music and he said it was coming up but all he played was rap and hip hop. Definitely avoid this bar if you want to two-step and listen to country. Where I come from, country bars play 20-30 country songs, then 4-5 rap/hip hop songs and then more country. Very disappointing and I will avoid this place as much as I can in the future. ViewHouse down the street played more country songs in the short time I was there. Won't be back.

What makes this place is the people.... the customers, not the staff. The place has a great vibe. I have been there three times now, and its the same music. Time for a new DJ. The bartender. Well, he looks angry. Yes, a club type bar that's busy on a Friday night maybe a challenging work environment, but HEY! You work for TIPS, remember.

More like "Hip Hop Lounge". I guess this is what the 'country' scene has come to. Also, why have a Coat Check sign, when you never have it open?! Also also, no Coors???? Must be too far from the brewery...

A friend and I popped in on a Saturday night and the place was packed. They played a mix of country, old hip hop and top 40. The wait to get a drink was a few minutes. I ordered two Tito's and waters and I felt like it was 75 percent vodka. There were around $8 each. There was a $5 cover. Why..I dunno. There was no band. There was a huge dance floor filled with people, it was kind of hard to get to the bathroom in the back. We cleaned off a table ourself so we could sit down. Overall, if you want strong drinks and a place to dance, this would be a solid option.

Get ready for a story! I came here for a fun night on New Year's Eve and ended up almost losing consciousness due to the staff's lack of decency and help. At the end of the night, I went to the coat check to retrieve my jacket - both my friends got theirs back with our coat check ticket, but mine was missing. I asked the coat check guy to make sure once again that my jacket wasn't in the back just in case, and he refused and told me to call in three days when they were open again. Shocked and tired, my friends and I decided to call an Uber - but because of the NYE rush and the super snowy weather, we were expecting to wait on the Uber for a while. I politely explained to a security guy that the coat check did not have my jacket, and asked if it would be alright to wait inside for our Uber since it was negative 8 degrees outside AND wind chill and snow. I was genuinely scared I would get hypothermia, and this place either gave my jacket away or couldn't find it.
