Alright, I've been letting this stew all day. Because I generally give people the benefit of the doubt in social situations. But good lord do these reviews make me even more upset. I went here with my grandma to enjoy breakfast because she recommended this market fondly. Little did I know that it's run by poorly trained baristas with the most chronic nasty attitudes imaginable.Thankfully my grandma did not hear when you all laughed at her for anything listed below. It would have broken my heart if she saw how you all looked at her. It broke mine.So let me get this straight; y'all fill your cups so high that they spill all over customers, expect said customers to "wait for the drink to settle" while trying to take it across a busy dining hall so you're not in the way of other people getting drinks, and then laugh at the mess they make. I work in food service and can't even IMAGINE treating my customers like that. It's actually insufferable behavior, I expect better from people obviouslyquite a bit older than me. And who have clearly been warned by these reviews before. Now let's get into your drink quality. Unsweetened matcha? Really? I enjoy unsweetened matcha in certain settings but if I order a latte and it tastes more like beans in water than matcha or coffee, you have a problem. Not to mention the grit of the whole drink and the fact that it was overflowing so much it turned my hands green. If you're going to be incompetent making expensive drinks maybe have the common decency to not laugh at a woman giving you service and recommending your business to her family members. Shame on you all, even those of you who did nothing when your coworker tried to shame someone.

The baristas here should be ashamed of themselves. I'm not one to take time from my day to write a negative review, but my elderly mother and teen daughter went here today and were treated horribly. They were served piping hot food without any sort of tray or anything to protect their hands so my mother dropped hers, the drinks were overfilled to the point they spilled as they walked, and the baristas watched and laughed in amusement instead of offering to help in any way. This place will never get any of our business ever again.

I can’t really speak to the coffee but I ordered an iced matcha and it was not good. It was very pale, grainy, and tasted like milk. I went up and asked for more matcha because I paid $6 for a small and tipped. They poured in a premixed matcha concentrate from a bottle. If you are a matcha snob do not get it from here.Service was good, they seemed busy and preoccupied but it was a Sunday so that’s understandable.

Great coffee but the staff is very rude, laughing at customers, rolling their eyes when I asked if they had any sugar free syrups… etc. Will skip this coffee spot next time.

Hmm... the service here surprised me. I love Central Market, and come here often. It's an awesome conglomerate of amazing eats! But, even more attractive than the great food, is the family friendly, positive atmosphere. Central Market is a vibe! Unfortunately, Crema Bodega is not. When I approached, there wasn't anyone in line, but the young lady behind the counter wasn't at the register, so I hung back waiting for her to either greet me, or come to the register to take orders. I finally asked cheerfully, "Can I place an order?" Her sarcastic response: "Well, there's no one up here, so..."I'm sorry, what? Usually in situations like this, I would say, "No thank you," and walk away (I am a stickler for amazing service. I work hard for the money I make, and I qualify where I spend it!) But, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Strike one, though.I, then, proceeded to order a Chai Latte with Oat Milk. I asked her how the Chai was sweetened? "It comes already sweetened."Um, with what? Is it a concentrate sweetened with sugar?I had questions. I guess questions aren't allowed, and she doesn't care about what she's serving, so, annoyed, she gave me the concentrate container so I could look up the sugar content myself. Strike 2.Finally, once I completed my order, she didn't say "thank you" or show any gratitude for my patronage. Strike 3.Needless to say, I will not return to Crema Bodega because it was clear that either she didn't want to be there, or she didn't want me to be. The Chai was subpar - honestly Panera's is better, even from concentrate. At least there, I get a friendly welcome and a "thank you" - minus the sarcasm.*That's so unfortunate because they are in the BEST market!*

The staff was so much fun and the coffee was delicious. I took a picture of someone else’s beautiful latte (I got iced which isn’t a pretty)!

The coffee was ok, nothing great. The lady who took my order was so rude. I hate to give a small business bad reviews but the first person you talk to is definitely representative of your service standards.

I've been to almost every coffee shop in the Denver metro area. This was told it costs extra to request light ice. Imagine charging in order to the fill the cup you asked for, with the beverage you already paid for. Pretty wild. Might as well carry 4 Oz cups if all you want to give me is 4oz of the liquid.

Is their coffee the best specialty coffee in town, probably not, but they have good coffee and lots of options. The thing that stands out to me today are the employees!! They are moving to the music, smiling and greeting everyone! Customer service is not dead in this little corner of the market!! Great job guys!Dietary restrictions: They offer several milk options!

Just a note for other people coming here, the hours on Google maps aren’t correct. I came on a Friday and they were closed at 6:30. (Google says open until 7) Their sign on their counter says they close at 6 daily.

Stopped into Denver Central Market for a coffee and some food. Ordered an iced vanilla latte, waited about 10 mins to receive my drink. It was pretty good, in my opinion it could have used a little more sweetness but everyone is different! I love the aesthetic of the shop and that they offer merchandise as well.

Some of the best coffee I've had in Denver. Espresso is masterfully pulled and all of the drinks are made perfectly. I go out of my way to come here because of how good it is. The staff is also lovely and happy to chat about the coffee they're serving (thank you David!).

Really friendly coffee stop in the Denver Grand Market. It’s just inside the entrance to the right and they sell a variety of Colorado-roasted beans, including a bag of Sweet Bloom espresso that we purchased to bring home. Happy with the hot lattes on a cold day and glad to be right around the corner from great foods and baked goods.
