I decided to try this place on my lunch brake and I was definitely not happy about it. I just ordered the most popular sandwich from the menu and it was so bad. Such a weird taste and it was $15. Will never come back and not recommend anybody

Their Cubano sandwich has been our favorite for years! I tried palomilla steak the other night and it was okay but I don’t think I’d order it again. The tres leches cake is a must!

Ordered 3 fish plates to go.

Portions were waaaay to small (packed into a box size like the one you would see on an airplane.

Not the first time at this specific location - fish smell is not pleasant and too pronounced.

Showed up for a family dinner placed ordered took over 15 min to use Groupon tvv he at we had bought. The restaurant accepted it then refused and demanded that we pay the additional amount. After we had been at table for 15 min. Will never eat at any locations. Gave to argue with Groupon to get my money back.

I’ve been here a few times before and couldn’t remember why I hadn’t been in a while. While in the area I came here for lunch on a Saturday. The place was fairly dead that afternoon, despite that all but 2 of the tables were dirty. There is loud Spanish (Cuban?) music playing that gives it a casual vibe.

A Pan con Bistec with Swiss, Yuca fries and a bottle of Diet Coke had me at about $25 pre-tip. I had a bit of sticker shock at that, but hey, maybe this place is better than I remember.

The food arrived fairly quickly in an unassuming plastic Lunch basket with a small cup of Yuca fries on the side. The Yuca fries were outstanding, very garlicky and the great combination of starchy texture you expect. If you haven’t had Yuca fries before, they slightly thicker than a potato fry with a crispier exterior and starchier interior. Occasionally the interior can be too dry but Cuba Cuba really balanced these well with the garlic aioli so it was delicious and moist. Some of the best I’ve had.

The Pan con Bistec, was good, but I wouldn’t add the Swiss again. It added to the price and subtracted from the flavor. While it added some interesting texture with the crunchy shoestring fries and melted cheese, it covering up the Chimichurri and Cuban flavors and replaced them with Swiss. The steak was beaten thin as a pancake but still had more than few chewy patches to grind through. The bread was kind of meh, just dry and crunchy, it went with the rest but didn’t add to it either. It made me glad I got a soda. I was left feeling that there wasn’t enough beef or flavor to justify the price.

If the sandwiches at this place were $5 cheaper or included the side, I think I’d recommend it, but as it is, it was kind of pricey, the dining room wasn’t clean, and the food while good, wasn’t life changing. So if you’ve got cash to burn and want something you can’t find elsewhere, I recommend Cuba Cuba, but as for myself I likely won’t be back any time soon.

I visited today for lunch with my mom on Tuesday, October 22. Unfortunately, the interaction between the lady taking our order this afternoon around 12pm and my mom was a bit off. My mom simply asked if the Lechon was crispy and salted, and the response was unnecessarily rude, as if she was supposed to already know that the lunch version is always crispy and served with salad.

I was really excited to bring my mom since the food and service are generally okay (though there’s room for improvement). One thing I also noticed is that the music is way too loud, which makes it difficult to have conversations, especially when you’re just coming in for a quick lunch

Recently ordered 100 croquetas and two full trays of mariquitas for my daughter’s 1st bday from Cuba Cuba and it was a hit! Price was moderate and service was great. Spoke to Justin through email and he was very communicative. I chose to pick it up in the restaurant and the food was ready right on time. All so delicious!
