Ordered a cappuccino to enjoy there but for it to be served in a to go cup? Also I wasn’t impressed with the selection of sweets available considering the old location. Would go back only if I were close to the area.

Weirdest business model I’ve ever seen where there’s nobody to contact for an order for a cake, you submit a request and wait 48 hours before somebody gets back to you, ridiculous. Even when I went into the store, the service people had no idea when I could order a cake or how. Really crazy. I’m sure the cakes are great, but it is a huge process to order. This is not a good business model.

Are you shut down or not? I thought you all closed??? Just went to the door the other day and the place is shut down. Now you keep constantly posting new stuff like you're open?????....... Is there a new store or something and you all have not updated the addresses on anything??? Insta, Google, yelp, fb, your own freaking website???? Are you closed or not
If you’re looking for a nice place to sit and enjoy a good drink and light meal or pastry, this is the place.
The atmosphere in this cafe is clean and friendly. I sat at the side bar by the windows, the seats are comfortable and everything is clean. They’re always playing nice upbeat music and the employees are nice, engaging with their customers.
I got the breakfast sammy and it’s one of their staples for a good reason. It’s a great size for the price, especially compared to the breakfast sandwiches offered at Starbucks. The bacon is crispy and the cheese is rich, my only note is that it was a little greasy.
I finished off my order with the iced oat milk chai, which was a nice treat after a warm day. The chai they use has a mild kick of spice to it (which can be easily balanced out with their sweeteners) I personally love a strong chai, so the standard order was perfect.

Went there to find out the grand-ness of a Dessert Bar. Sadly I was disappointed. I ordered birthday cake because my birthday was that day. It was very dry. For $9/slice, I was expecting something so much better. I felt like it was a waste of calories. Even trader joes sheet cake was significantly better. Maybe if I went earlier in the day, the desserts wouldn't have been dry idk.

LATE REVIEW BUT MUCH NEEDED TO POST!
This post is originally supposed to be for the Uptown location however, it’s now closed but I wanted to take the time to post since I wasn’t able to post back in July.
I ordered my wedding cake from D Bar Uptown and let me tell you guys it was the most beautiful and delicious cake. My now husband and I did the TO-GO cake tasting which was a lot of fun and we picked up from the Central Park location.
At the time I was working with Michelle (in bakery) who was able to make my wedding cake exactly how I wanted. We ended up going with a Red Velvet, Passion Fruit Curd and berries and let me tell you guys it was the most delicious combo. Not only did I fall in love with the inside, the outside, was beautiful. Definitely recommended! Also, my cake was delivered to the venue which made it so convenient.
For reference: this size served around: 25-30 people

I’m sad to say that I’ve been ordering a custom birthday cake from here for about 5 or 6 years now, and I will no longer be ordering from them anymore.
Usually, we all really love the cake in my family. I always get the vanilla with macaroons, and sub the filling for lemon. It’s always been delicious, but this year I’m really sad to say it was very bland.
The cake was beautiful, and the filling/macaroons were delicious. But the frosting and cake were both very bland and tasted of nothing. I honestly feel there would have been a larger flavor profile in a $4 candy bar.
I usually ordered from the Denver location in Uptown, but since they permanently closed, I ordered from Central Park. I’m not sure if it’s because they moved locations or what, but truly, the cake was not worth the money we paid for it.
It was super bland, a bit dry, and not worth the $70 we paid for a custom cake. I’m sad to say I will no longer be ordering from here after years of loving this place and their cake.

7 of o my friends went for lunch. The outside seating was full so we sat inside which was cozy. It’s simple but DELICIOUS food. All of us got different dishes and everyone enjoyed their’s. The counter server was very very pleasant and efficient. Will definitely go again and take my husband. The prices are very reasonable. They also have a happy hour!

Overwhelmingly positive - The first thing to hit you is the aesthetic, it’s clean, bright, and well appointed. Extremely friendly staff who are patient and enthusiastic about their food and drinks. We ordered the monkey bread (ask to have it warmed up!), avocado toast, breakfast burrito, afagatto, and a chai latte. Everything is made in house, which you can tell both by the presentation and taste.
The pricing is be surprising. It’s flanked by both a corporate coffee shop and bagel shop. It doesn’t make sense to not support local when you can get something better for less.

This is a small spot so not much seating but really good desserts. Just have to be aware of what day you’re attending because sometimes they have limited variety and other times they have a full display. Maybe stop in early and on or near the weekend.

Been coming here weekly for the last 2 months and everything has been terrific. The chocolate caramel tart is the best thing ever!
