This one is closed. Has been for over a year according to the guy at 3140 S Parker Rd. I drove there for nothing. You should remove it from your list of stores. Thank you

My father (in his late 60s) visited my wife and I for dinner and afterwards we decided to take a walk for some ice cream with him and our two kids. The University Hills DQ is a short walk and all 5 of us went together. As we were checking the menu to place our order, my father politely asked for the restroom key and was refused by the young person at the register. She said, "you have to order something." We were clearly checking the menu for that very purpose but the cashier had zero respect for the needs of my aging father who was only polite to her. I was disgusted by her behavior and will not be going back. It's not like we all walked there just to watch him use the bathroom. If they store policy is to refuse senior citizens the dignity of using their facilities until after they make a purchase, I hope others will also join me in getting their ice cream elsewhere.

Dairy Queen keeps re-marking this place as open on Google Maps when it has been closed for MONTHS. Shows how little awareness they have of their own shops.

This place is permanently closed. The signage was taken down and it is for lease.

I've never experienced any negative issues with the staff or service. Unfortunately the location has permanently closed.

Place was dead. Tried to talk to the serving me but he was dead just like the place. No problem. I work at fast food and have been off and on since I was young. I strive to give great customer service. I'm very satisfied with the results I get. I always give reviews everywhere I go.I used to work at OJ/DQ at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake City, Utah. Best job I ever had in my life. I don't think I'll ever top it.

To say the customer service was absolutely horrendous is an understatement. A friend of mine and myself came into your store 30 minutes before closed to order a couple of shakes. As we ordered we were snarked at as if we didn't belong there. After receiving our order we we're heading towards the door to leave the store and stop to read one of the signs on the wall that contains some of dairy Queen's history that we found interesting. Not even 15 seconds into reading the poster. The man behind the counter ( Early twenties Caucasian gentleman with medium long hair) basically shooed us out of the store. He said that they were trying to close and that we needed to leave mind you that we were only standing there for about 15 seconds. We told him that we were just trying to read the sign and he said that he was trying to turn the lights off as he said this, remind me the store still had 20 minutes before it closed according to their hours posted. He turned the lights off making it hard to see to get out of the store. I don't know if dairy Queen has any customer service training prior to getting hired or if he just didn't have any home training to begin with. Either way, it was a very unpleasant experience and I hope that the management team corrects this accordingly.

Okay seriously I don't leave a review unless I have a very good or very bad experience. We've been to this Dairy Queen 3 or 4 times and every time has been a terrible experience, due specifically to the employee everyone else has left reviews about. He's terribly rude and unpleasant from the get go, no matter how nice you are to him. If management cares AT ALL about business they should have a serious talk with him about how to treat other human beings, and how to have an ounce of customer service skills. We definitely won't be returning to this location. Like...ever.

The guy did a wonderful job. Then since he was by himself he had to close for 15 minutes. They had a sign saying they couldn't except gift cards.

This business' operation is seriously lacking in customer service and product availability. Today there were signs saying, ""No food available today", Reese's Take 5 "Sold Out", medium Blizzards "Sold Out", "No chocolate ice cream", and "We do not accept gift cards, sorry for any inconvenience". My son-in-law went to the counter and asked for a spoon and got an eye roll and a half hearted attempt to pass off a spoon. The spoon fell to the counter, the sales person looked at my son-in-law and the spoon and walked away. All three of the employees slunk into the back of the store as soon as they passed off the ice cream. None of the employees wore name tags or any identification badges. The employees were efficient but lacked any customer service personality; flat interactions and no desire to try to give the customer a positive experience. Thank goodness there are numerous soft serve locations besides this one. Highly not recommended.
