I wanted to share this because we normally love Dalton's and the food/service. However we went last night 3/27 and were extremely disappointed.
We came here for our first night out in a while and were excited to order burgers. However when I got to the order window the cook let me know they didn't have enough food for the night so I couldn't place an order. We saw multiple people come and pick up their orders so it made sense. However the first failure was he didn't even offer anything else like fries etc.
So we ordered food elsewhere & finished our drinks. Right before we left about 10-15min after the initial statement of being 'done' with burgers for the night. We see another cook come to the register and he was taking orders from the new customers (4-5 people) that walked in. Confused I hopped back in line and confirmed that they we're taking burger orders.
Not only did the original cook not follow up and let us know that they had enough food now (for whatever reason) but for the circumstances to change within 10minutes seems crazy.
So were extremely disappointed with the service and situation at one of our favorite spots.

Honestly I was kind of blown away by how much I enjoyed this place. First off I feel like I should mention that this place is inside of an Eagles fan bar and while it was packed inside, everybody was very courteous and the vibes felt right. Placed an order at the stand, gave them my phone # and they texted me when it was ready. Enjoyed a beer with my girl outside in the back at one of the benches until I got a text when the food was ready. Got a double cheeseburger and fries with a Philly and it was amazing. Philly wasn't covered in cheese and was instead super flavorful on a sesame seed hoagie. Waffle fries were stupid crispy and the burger had 2 amazing smash patties with cheese and pickles. Phenomenal food, very friendly and welcoming. 10/10 will be back again
