As a group of bartenders, we had high expectations walking into Death & Co-one of the most respected cocktail bars out there. And let me tell you, they lived up to the hype. The drinks were expertly crafted, balanced, and creative, exactly what you'd hope for from a place of this caliber.
But what truly set the experience apart was our server, Kayleigh. She was absolutely amazing-knowledgeable, engaging, and completely on top of everything without ever making us feel rushed. She clearly knows her stuff and made great recommendations that suited each of our preferences. Her hospitality and attention to detail made the night feel special, even for a group that works in the industry.
If you're looking for a top-tier cocktail experience with service to match, Death & Co is the spot-and if you're lucky enough to have Kayleigh as your server, you're in for a great night.

Pretty good
Such a cool place with delicious drinks. Don't miss the rooftop. Heads up that it's one of the few places in Denver where people dress nice in the evenings.

This place is such a vibe, and so aesthetically pleasing. The bartenders were 10/10!! The oysters were incredible!!! Best I’ve ever had. Absolutely loved our experience!

I have held this place to such a standard when it comes to a high quality cocktail experience, for many reasons. I never miss an opportunity to go here whenever I am in Colorado. However this last experience was not my favorite. Rising prices on even their most basic foods. I loved their bread and butter (which last time was $9 about two years ago) now $13 and served with an extremely small amount of the butter and the bread was hardly warm. Looks like things have changed there quite a bit, just for bread and butter.
I have visited every location and held the Denver location as the premier spot but the service was mid and I found wanting to spend more money there to be more of a waste, especially after the bread. The cocktail was good but I just wanted to leave and find a place where my hard earned money goes further. Final bill for bread and butter and one cocktail was $35. Not worth it anymore….

I stopped by to visit... I come here for the atmosphere and sound of conversation. I was turned away accused of being intoxicated. I was sober. The manager is not friendly and turned away someone friendly, sound, and 100 percent sober.
We came in for a night cap and dessert, and it was fantastic! The bartender made me a mocktail with a 0-proof alcohol. It had the body and feel of a real drink, which I really appreciated. We also had the cookies, which were warm and gooey and delightful. This is a destination for booze nerds, and they showed up tonight!

Delicious drinks, friendly staff, moody interiors. An excellent place for a date or to hang with friends or coworkers.

I went to The Garden on the rooftop of Death & Co which is what I am basing my review off of as I could not find somewhere to review the Garden itself, however, please know, that the Garden upstairs has a completely different menu which is cocktails and finger foods. The options are not bad but the menu downstairs definitely looked better but the ambiance upstairs is nicer (if you like sitting outside and enjoying the sun, of course!) we got the cucumber Collin's drink and it was kind of disappointing for the price point and experience, for $16 I think it was a drink with some syrups and alcohol with a lime. Not sure how they add the cucumber portion to it but I was expecting something with muddled in cucumbers and mint etc, basically, it didn't really meet the expectation of how the menu described and how bougee this place appears to be! I would have loved to try the food and drinks downstairs it seemed to look better. Oh yes and the service upstairs is ordering at the bar and drinks brought to your table with first come first serve seating. Despite an average experience, I would go back to check out the restaurant downstairs (the actual Death & Co)

Sat at the bar so had a front row seat to the action. Every member of the staff really puts their all into every drink they make, and it shows. Highest quality drinks you can get in Denver by far. Service was fantastic, Jesse Plemons took great care of us!
