Very cute. When we arrived, they were all asleep. By the time we left, it was a party. Everyone was awake and Marble was fussing about her food.
Lots of merch, beverages easily available, lots of toys to play with the cats out for customer use, lots of games and cards for customers to amuse themselves with. Multiple feeders and waterers so the cats can wander in and out. About half the cats were asleep in the overhead cat walkways, but still were willing to play if a toy was thrown their way.
Very big bathroom, lots of light and space, frequently cleaned by staff while customers are cycling in and out.
My son and I can't wait to go back. I thought we would go for a half hour or so but we loved it so much we were there for over an hour and would have stayed longer but we had to be somewhere. Looking forward to going back!
Super friendly staff who tells you all about the kitties. Nice space for humans and kitties. Kitty themed games for humans available and toys for you to play with the cats also available. Gift shop with chatchkies.
Had a great time at the Denver Cat co! The cats were a bit shy but a few still managed to hang around the crowds. They offer a lot of games and have a selection of drinks. We would definitely visit again!
Our family was so excited to come here just to hang out with cats. Our youngest is obsessed so we thought it would be the perfect way to spend our day. We stayed maybe 30 minutes. The venue is super adorable but a few things immediately turned us off to the experience. When you enter, the smell of ammonia/dander filled the air. The place wasn’t dirty by any means, I just think the amount of cats plus the large window letting in a ton of heat intensified the odor. While we were hoping for more of a cafe experience, it was noted that there are health code restrictions from the beginning but even the items you could purchase were a huge turn off due to the smell. I’m sure if you work there, you get used to it but it was definitely bothersome. It took quite awhile after leaving for our eyes to stop burning.
We also felt like the staff member at the counter wasn’t very friendly and we had virtually no time interacting with the cats- some didn’t want to be bothered which is understandable and the ones that wanted to play were swarmed over immediately. All of these things weren’t necessarily issues by themselves but paying $45 for 30 minutes was only worth it to support the rescue cats.
I am sure the behavior of the cats vary at different times of the day, but few cat were accessible, and many were up in the highest cubbies or not wanting to interact with visitors. I appreciate their mission, but felt it was a bit of a waste for our kids, at least on the particular day we visited.
I always enjoy myself there both with the 4 legged staff and the 2 legged staff. All are very friendly and looking to be loved. When I lost a kitty and wasn't quite ready for another one, my cup was filled with happiness when I went there for comfort. they have fun events that I always look forward to like Bingo, Trivia and arts and crafts. Check them out and give and get some love.
Awesome staff and so cool to see a place helping cats. Thank you for all you do. We had a great time! 😸❤️
If you are a cat lover and cat person, you are in the right place! Lovely cats, lovely crews and a cozy place. Better than soulless cafes, bars and restaurants. I will come back again! 😊

We visited the Denver Cat Company on a play date for our cat loving kids. They had so much fun playing with the cats and learning about the rescue program. The cats were so sweet and friendly and wanted to play. The kids also enjoyed the snacks and drinks. Even with 22 cats, there was no foul smell, the place was very clean and comfortable.
The concept of a cat cafe is such a fun idea. However when we entered it was crowded. We payed the fee, observed, and pet about 2 cats. There should really be a person maximum, it was very loud in there. Cats have great hearing and sensitive ears, I can imagine that it is overstimulating for them. I also think a no pick up rule should be enforced. Some cats prefer to keep their feet on the ground. I saw kids picking up cats, getting hissed at and not listening to the cats boundaries. Kids should also be more closely monitored in this setting, there is a sign, but it was not followed. The majority of the cats seemed overstimulated and drained. They were either not interacting or telling people to leave them alone, which is very understandable when children are running at you grabbing you, and people are petting you and picking you up hours on end.
Just adopted my cat from there. They are the best cafe and all of the cats are so cared for and I love the environment. So thankful for them for my cat.
I love coming here whenever I need some cuddles from cats. This place is well maintained.
Loved the cat cafe! All the cats are super sweet and soft and 100% recommend if you love cats. Warning: The admission for 1 adult is $50 and admission for 1 child is $13.
