My first time in Denver and I was craving some Italian food for lunch. Found this place and the price was perfect and the food looked good. Also had a pretty decent rating. The place was slow, but expected at 2pm. Amazing smells hit you in the face when you open the door. Jose greeted us iwith a friendly smile. Ordered the pizza logs as an appetizer, recommend for sure. The chicken parm was amazing. I will definitely be coming back here every time I'm in Denver in the future.

We stopped in for a quick lunch during our vacation in the Denver area. Jose was super nice and friendly! We had stuffed shells, chicken parm, a meat ball and garlic bread. It was all very good. Highly recommend!

There was absolutely no flavor in the penne ala vodka. On top of that there was little to no sauce. It felt like I was just eating bland pasta.

The food was amazing! Fresh pasta, amazing chicken cutlet, red sauce was just spicy enough. If anything, I'm mad I don't have one where I live. The service was good. Seemed to be a family operation. The atmosphere was pretty good. It was a bit small, but that is more than understandable for Denver.

I came here with my son and his friends. Just a dad with four 10-year old boys. We all LOVED the food. Fresh pasta, amazing flavor and great service. At the end, the owner whiped out 4 canolis for the boys. Freebies just cuz he said they were such nice boys. They loved it, it was the perfect stop before dragging the kids to a museum.

I don’t mean to sound overly critical, but I’ve noticed a recurring theme in many Italian restaurants around Colorado: an overuse of chili flakes or unnecessary heat in dishes that simply don’t need it.
Italian cuisine is known for its richness, depth, and beautiful use of herbs and spices, not spiciness. There’s a big difference between “flavorful” and “spicy,” and I wish more places understood that. Garlic, basil, oregano, olive oil, slow-simmered sauces… that’s the heart of Italian cooking. Not heat.
My husband and I had lunch here because it was close to our hotel. So glad we did. It was the best food we had while visiting Denver. Great ceasar salad, meatballs and stuffed shells. Very small menu but everything was delicious.

Admittedly I haven’t been in here since it was sold. The pasta was fantastic, the service was fantastic and memorable. Charlie was great to talk to. The only gripe I had with the place was the deserts tasted a bit like the refrigerator.

Spectacular food! The staff were super friendly and attentive and were able to accommodate for a severe gluten allergy. We had the Vodka Penne (with gluten free pasta), and the sausage french bread pizza. Both were really tasty, lots of flavor. We also ordered one of their gluten free cannolis and a piece of strawberry cheesecake to-go and were very pleased with both. I am not gluten free but my wife is, and her pasta and cannoli didn't taste any different from traditional recipes! I would actually order it myself. The restaurant had a cool atmosphere. It's a pretty small place (only 10 or so tables) with family photos on the walls.

Where can you have fresh made pasta? Everything is made fresh in-house. The sauces are delicious. We will definitely be back.

Went here recommended by our valet from our hotel. I have to say this is the best Italian food I’ve ever had. We were on our honeymoon and when we met the owner he gave us a free bottle of champagne to congratulate us. We’re from Oklahoma and we will be making a trip back just to eat at difrancos…yes it’s that good
