Have been in a few times and had a good time overall. It’s really a bar for whiskey fans. The service wasn’t fast or extremely friendly, but wasn’t bad either. We enjoyed the bar snacks like pickle dip and puppy chow but it seems inconsistent how much you actually get (got 2 very different sized portions on each occasion). Was fun to watch football with the sound on. Biggest complaint is the bar stools are SO uncomfortable- no back, and the seat is the size of a child’s chair 🥲

The people and staff were awesome! I can't drink alchahol anymore due to a liver transplant and being a horrible drunkard. The bartenders made me the best mocktails I've ever had! I'm hoping to move to the area so we gota name those drinks guys!

Cocktail was eh. Great whiskey list. Place barely had anyone in it but was still too loud to talk to the person next to you. Asked the staff about it and even after multiple people complained about it we were all told to pound sand. Go somewhere else.

I was overcharged and didn’t notice until I got home and they were upset with ME when I called to let them know like it was my fault THEY messed up. They really thought I was lying about a $21 overcharge … when I have my receipt and told them they can check cameras too if they really think I’ll go that far for a little $21! LIKE Hello! 🤣 not once did bro think to ask the bartender who helped me out too instead of guessing. Are we okay!? And tipped 30%-40% when I was there… like but they basically trying to call me broke. okay buddy… eventually they agreed to made it right but with all the attitude in the world. The only reason I cared to call and ask them to make it right is the principle. I paid for something I didn’t order. The drinks were really good and that’s the only reason for two stars, but I will not be back because who handles customers like that? “Odd strange and unlikable behavior with some nice cocktails”, sum up my first and last impression of this place. I can see why it was empty on a Saturday.

Derek and Zane were great hosts. Appreciate their knowledge and suggestions. The place has a great ambiance and energy. If you like whisky, you’ll love this place.

I had two non-alcoholic beers and a Diet Coke. I was charged $41. $49 with tip. Seems a little excessive.

I was shocked by the price of two glasses of wine. 🍷 we where charged over $35.00 and all we had was two glasses of wine from a tap.

Disappointing Experience During a Corporate Event

We recently had a low-key corporate event at this bar. Nothing wild—just casual mingling with coworkers. Each of us was given two drink tickets (worth $15 each), which was a generous setup. But the experience left a lot to be desired.

From the start, we noticed the bartenders strongly pushed specific elaborate, sugary cocktails. That in itself wasn’t a huge deal, but anytime someone tried to order something simple—like a vodka soda, a Long Island, or a double tall—it felt like we were putting them out. In some cases, we were flat-out told, “We don’t do that.” When I offered to pay out of pocket instead of using a ticket, they stumbled before remembering to say, “Oh—we don’t do that.” It felt like anything outside of their script was an inconvenience.

We initially thought maybe the tickets limited what we could order, so many of us switched to paying with cash or cards. Still, same attitude.

The tipping situation was also confusing. Some of us offered cash tips and were told the tickets “covered everything,” only for the tone to shift later when more people arrived and suddenly we were being side-eyed for not tipping.

To be clear: we weren’t a rowdy group. We were respectful of the shared space, friendly, and made an effort to welcome others who arrived and might’ve been alone—there were probably about 30 of us at any given time. Our company is massive, so most of us didn’t know each other, but we tried to be warm and inclusive.

Despite our good intentions and willingness to tip and pay beyond what was already covered, the overall vibe we got from the staff was that we just weren’t welcome.

Based on this experience, I can’t really see myself recommending this place or returning. The space itself was fine, but the service and atmosphere made it hard to feel like we belonged.

Great dive bar for cocktails

Terrific cocktails, great ambience, wonderful service. We were a large party and tried several different cocktails. Some better than others, but all were unique and worth trying.

Great drinks, even greater company. The owners and bartenders show up and show out for their customers. Oh, and they have hot dogs🤘🏼

Thanks for all that you do!
