Been going to Don’s since Don actually owned the place. I shouldn’t be surprised by little Pub Co having to hire security that…1. Isn’t smart enough to know a 54 year old from a 20 year old at the door.2. Is on such a power trip that a customer can’t finish their drink and pay their tab 20 minutes before 2 am. (Expect a chargeback and take it out of your “more concerned about someone waiting to pay their tab than the the brawl outside your front door” crack security you have). Let them pay my $12 tan.! I won’t be back. Learn how to be a good operator.

Fun old school bar with a solid beer selection, shuffleboard, pool table ski ball and foosball.Food is a vending machine with an eclectic selection, from cheez its to frozen White Castle sliders.
This place is the epitome of a dive bar. You have the regulars, the well used seats and bar area, smells of many years of drinking and late night memories washed away by strong drinks.

The bouncer at this place tonight was unbelievably and incredibly rude to my 21 year old sister and refused to let her in. Apparently they have an asinine rule that individuals with vertical IDs aren't allowed in when vertical IDs are in fact a legal form of identification. He claimed that even though the rule was dumb that her ID was invalid. If her ID is good enough for border patrol and TSA and every other place she's been in Denver, the rest of the U.S. and Europe, then its definitely good enough for your dive bar. If that's the policy, then whatever...but she has a Nevada ID to begin with and nonetheless even if its your policy, the bouncers behavior toward her after the fact was absolutely not okay. She was on a company outing with her coworkers and bosses and he treated her incredibly despicably. He made her cry with his rude comments and behavior towards her. He told her she was overreacting, called her rude, yelled at her, and rolled his eyes at her. Even when she was privately speaking with her coworkers about the situation while waiting for her uber to take her home albeit away from him and not addressing him, he walked up unprovoked and confronted her and spoke to her implying that she was being overdramatic and rude. I'm disgusted with how this individual treated another person, especially a young woman who was crying due to HIS rude behavior. Additionally, reading your comments to other poor reviews, clearly shows poor management on your part. It's a wonder you're not out of business yet!

I've been a regular at this bar for years since I've lived very close to it. But my last experience was super unfortunate. A friend and I were being harassed by man at the bar while we were waiting to order a drink. We retaliated, which lead to us to being kicked out without concern of the staff for our reasoning. I will not be returning to this bar as I do not feel respected as a woman. This is unfortunate as Dons has been a regular bar for me for years. I hope they make some changes and start to hear women's sides when they feel harassed at this place. Super sad to not be returning to my regular bar after this incident.
