Dough Counter Pizza

This place is THE gf dream. Ever since getting diagnosed with celiac, I’ve been wanting comfort food I can order and safely trust, and dough counter delivers!! Their food is so good and I love that it’s all safe for me to eat! I regularly order from here :)

Pizza was either dry and flavorless or too salty. Like pretty much all pizza in Denver it’s pretty terrible. Not enough sauce, not enough cheese. Dough is thin and dry. Chicken tenders were very dry. Salad was very mediocre. Expensive for what it is & not any better than any of the chains. Do not recommend

I typically LOVE eating at Dough Counter, however—the manager working today named Sky was anything but helpful. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and this is a forty minute drive for me, picked up my to-go order which was supposed to be six chicken tenders, two ranch & a fry—got home, had two chicken tenders, marinara sauce & a salad. Called and asked if they would let me come back in later to pick up the correct order, they said no and that they wouldn’t refund because it was our fault we didn’t check the order before leaving. Poor customer service. Won’t be back unless this is resolved.

Ordered a large pepperoni. Crust isn't doughy. I like the sauce though! Pepperoni has a small kick to it, but it is a good kick!

My Colorado New York Pizza Meetup group have a fabulous get-together at Dough Counter. There was a private room which held our group of 28 perfectly. The Sicilian slices is out of this world.

A star for each slice I ate! We ordered the pepperoni Hot Honey - so good. We knew it would be right when we caught a whiff of the inside of the pizza place. Barely made it home without eating in the car. We have visited a few times and will be back!

We really appreciated our recent experience, Wednesday afternoon. My girlfriend was excited to try the place she learned they have an optional substitute for cheese that is dairy-free! .. food allergies..y’know? McKayla and her friendly co-worker came to the table as the food was delivered to ensure that we understood the sicialian crust had cheese already included so they made it with a different dough. Thanks again for the great service, you helped save our first time at a pizza joint :)

Wife and I ordered from here on a whim last night. Never had it before. We got a simply 16 cheese pizza. I have to say this is probably the best pizza I have had in years. Simple well balanced flavors! The dough was incredible, the sauce was amazing! Well balanced, real food. 100% will eat again!

If you’re gluten free this place is awesome! I haven’t had mozzarella sticks in years, let alone a deep dish style pizza. The tenders and fries also are GF automatically and way cheaper than I would expect. Coming back for sure!
