Enjoyed my coffee but only paper cups available. No ceramic cups for drinking inside. Nice outdoor patio seating available and easy street parking. Sparse decor. Friendly baristas.

One of the best veggie breakfast burritos I have ever had! Bryan and Crab, the employees working, were really fun to talk to and had a great attitude!Definitely recommend!

Smoked was filed in the room. The latte I got was all milk and little taste of coffee. We had the throw them in the trash and get something in another place.

Great local coffee shop. Great coffee, friendly baristas, chill atmosphere (maybe it could use a little more art or pizazz). I do think the drip coffee is a bit expensive, so I don't go too often.

Used to be great, now it seems like they're trying to go out of business. Parking lot closed to cars, but not filled with tables, tattered caution tape on the outdoor furniture, odd hours, empty shop. Coffee still delicious, but appears to be clueless ownership. Sad.

This café was incredibly disappointing. The ambience was nice, but everything else—the food, coffee, service, and prices—were terrible. The two food items they offered were both bland and the coffee was even worse. The pastry was decent. The service was the worst part. I don’t expect to be catered to at a café, but the barista was pretty rude to us and physically damaged one of our food items. It was disappointing to know that we spent $44 on a meal that made us feel unwelcome and unsatisfied.

Neighborhood vibes are great - the outdoor seating is soooo nice. Breakfast burrito is delicious.Americano is $1 more than Hooked on Colfax but similar quality.

The nitro cold brew is so good. Also, big ups for the actual pumpkin pumpkin spice.Great service. The reviews make me sad. It's hard to hire and inflation sucks. If we keep shooting the messengers we'll have to make our own coffee at home. Like animals.Feel free to not lose your mind over a breakfast burrito.

Very friendly service and delicious nitro brew coffee. Nice people there, and all these other recent reviews seem pretty critical.

A year ago, this place was hopping. It’s a gorgeous outdoor space with shade and trees but it is… desperately in need of new ownership. They used to make their breakfast burritos from scratch every day, but now they’re all outsourced and salty. The hours are inconsistent and they clearly struggle to pay their employees sufficiently. Businesses like to blame it on “lack of willingness to work” but Downpours is definitely an outlier in Congress Park. They’ve raised the price of their coffee and removed basic amenities like plates. If I’m eating at your cafe, it’s pretty uncivilized to not give me a plate. I get that they can’t find dishwashers to work for pennies, but come on… get your act together. This is embarrassing.$30 for an iced americano, an iced tea, and two store-bought burritos that they definitely purchased wholesale for $3/piece.

I’m sad because i use to love this place and it was our go to most weekends, I can deal with a price jump on coffee i get that- but with such a limited menu and horrible breakfast burritos its sad this place is just not the same. The burritos were worth every penny until they started outsourcing and kept it at the same price, the current burritos are goopy, flavorless and aren’t worth your time with several other coffee/breakfast places within a few blocks.

One extra star for how good this place used to be when they had plates, consistent hours, juice, homemade burritos and everything was expensive, but not insultingly expensive. Their new burritos are the nastiest thing I've ever been served. Like a ham and cheese hot pocket but somehow worse.

This was my favorite coffee shop for years (even back when it was a Dazbog) but the owners have now ruined it: $5.50 for a brewed coffee? No plates for a burrito? This is the last time I spend any money here until a new owner takes it over. These won’t last another six months.

The quality of everything has really gone downhill. The burritos are not good anymore and the coffee is just too expensive. The hours are inconsistent. I used to come here all the time but honestly I won’t be ordering here again. I don’t know what happened or what changed but it wasn’t for the better.

I used to come here all the time, but after today I won’t be back. Coffee was watered down, breakfast burritos were bad. Prices were exorbitant for what you got. It’s sad, but at least there’s so many other coffee shops around town. Wouldn’t expect this place to last much longer.
