Got their signature chopped cheese which @14 dollars was already pushing the ceiling for a sandwich, but it was very small for the price and for 14 it should be bursting the hoagie, or at least exceptionally delicious. Instead it was very thin, like a Santiagos burrito size. Also just handed the sandwich in a parchment wrap, not in a brown bag with napkins or anything. No combo deals either. Pretty sure the hoagie wasn't fresh baked local artisan, seemed box grocer bought....
Flew into Denver for vacation on my birthday, decided to walk to this place close to our air bnb. We came in through the front and were immediately greeted with a warm welcome. The gentleman who helped us was friendly and polite. He helped explain the menu since it was our first time. I had the weekly special burger with grilled fresh jalapeños, it was one of the best burgers this burger fan has had. My wife had the chop sandwich, kinda there version of a Philly cheese steak,...
Interesting spot. Came a week ago for the first time and got the (denver) chopped cheese which was more like an Italian beef in disguise, but seriously lacking flavor. Really small portion for more money than the smash burger? Saw they had some cannoli in the counter but they were just for display so decided to come back on the weekend for some.
Came today and cannoli were sold out so I got a smash burger with extra patty. They only have cannoli on the weekends...
