I had the plesure of sitting at the bar and visited with Sela while she made me a great drink, I didn't eat, but my friend had a quesadilla, with green and red chile. It was huge and the chile was delicious. Dulce Vida is a great spot to grab some food and a drink. I'm planning on going back soon.

I wish I could give more stars because the food is good and the service the food staff provides is always polite and respectful. Unfortunately the bar tender was very rude today. I came in and asked for a towel to wipe a table, just looked like some dust may have gotten to it — not a big deal. She rolled her eyes, went behind the bar and tossed it toward me.

I just had a late lunch/early dinner at Dolce Vida. It was some of the best service I have ever received. As soon as I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and my server was delightful!! ❤️❤️ Her name was Dulcie and she was the most accommodating server. I have a sever peanut allergy and she had no problem figuring out a solution if anything, she made it her mission to make sure the chefs knew 🙃. I can’t put into words how sweet she was. Other restaurants should take notes from Dolce Vida to learn more about good service 🤣🤣🤣

The food and workers are so great! Take advantage of their mystery shots. I usually don’t like surprises but I liked this one! I got the Ronnie Mac and the Chili!

Maybe it was me or the time I had to wait for the cook to get there to order food their staff at the time seemed put off that we were their...To the point im mentioning it here would love to go back for a different experience 🤷.
Weird vibes and no one ever came to the kitchen to help us.

Two stars is a good rating. No hello. No how are you doing today. No conversation what so ever. Never asked how we might be paying for what we have ordered. Nothing rang up in the register. No thank you for coming in. We left cash on the counter but I'm pretty sure it went right into the bartenders pocket 🤢 my family had that spot for almost 30 years. Very disappointed. But to each their own.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this one earned it. My husband and I live nearby and figured we’d finally check this place out. The patio was nice, the bartender was super sweet and for a second, we thought this might actually be a decent spot to frequent more. It’s not.
While I went back inside to close our tab, there were two guys at the bar with a dog. As I walked up, the dog lunged at me. No bark. No warning. Just full-on claws to the legs. I’ve got scratches and bruises to prove it. I jumped back before it actually had a chance to bite me. But here’s the real kicker, the owners of the dog laughed. Laughed. Not in horror. Not nervously. Like it was the funniest thing they’d seen all day. Then, as if to ensure no one left this situation with any etiquette intact, the bartender says, “Maybe you should put a muzzle on your dog — this isn’t the first time.”
Excuse me? Not the first time? So we’re just hosting casual near-miss dog attacks now? And then pouring another round?
We were too stunned to say anything in the moment.
Don’t come here. Unless you're into watching dogs lunge at people while their owners laugh and the staff shrugs. Some places are hidden gems. This one should stay hidden.

Even on a sunny, Sunday afternoon the vibes at Dulce Vida were chill. The bartender was very friendly and made me feel at home. There was also the best boy, Chooch (I hope that's how it's spelled), who added to the coziness. I didn't get any alcohol but you don't need any to enjoy this place with some friends. I can't wait to visit again and try the food!

Pretty solid little bar with some good deals and surprisingly good food. I liked the overall vibe and space - this spot seems like a neighborhood establishment in the Triangle.
