Eaten here a few times and it's always been a great experience. The cucumber salad, shishito peppers, and edamame are great ways to start the meal (especially the cucumber salad and I'm not even that crazy about cucumbers). Everything else we tried was great with the exception of the porchetta bao bun which were ok, but seemed a little too saucy for my tastes. Will definitely be back.
Cutest little place, and both of our servers were amazing. Had the benefit of eating on a lowly Sunday night, so the place may have been less busy than usual... regardless enjoyed the entire experience immensely.
Our server was delightfully helpful and patient with us. Service was speedy and the food was great. We had mushroom and chicken/ginger dumplings, both pan fried, and pork bao. Both dumplings were tasty, but the bao was exceptional! There are a variety of sauces available, ranging from sweet to very spicy. We were also treated to complimentary tastiings of saki, watermelon/lime mocktail and a pumpkin pudding dessert. It was a lovely evening.
A DELICIOUS Valentine prix fix dinner! We had hoped to visit Dumplin' for months and tried the Valentine experience there in Highlands Square, a delightful spot. Service was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and truly helped guide our experience. The watermelon/lime/basil cocktail and complimentary saki were delicious. Each course of the 8 items was absolutely delicious and were brought to our table in a timely and comfortable manner. We especially loved their take on the chicken bao bun dish. We were fully informed about the 22% gratuity for all staff - I see in some reviews that may have surprised some folks, but we see it at many fine spots where continuity of employees is a priority. We will certainly be be back for another experience at Dumplin'
Dumplin' is a terric eatery. Nothing but praise for a little budda beer and the chicken and cooriander dumpling; pan-fried. However, the absence of the sausage and peppers bao buns is extremely disheartening. Of my several visits there, this is the item I look forward to the most.
Can't go wrong with dumplings but they blew my mind. We started with the hamachi crudo and caesar salad. Both were exceptional. We had the burrata/kale and wagyu dumplings as recommended by our server and both were incredible. All three bao buns were delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu items!
Was cautious because asian fusion can be hit or miss, but Dumplin' exceeded all expectations. The salad, dumplings, and bao buns were all delicious. Was delighted with a free welcome drink and dessert bite. Would absolutely come back and try more menu items.
Service was very nice. Interesting menu. Food not exception. Ridiculous to put a 22% service charge and then ask for more!
The food was waaaaay better when I visited a year-ish ago. This time the scampi was fishy, the pork green chili ramen was too over smoked and mostly just pork with a few tiny little green chilies. The awesome cucumber salad was, sadly, the best thing we had. The staff was very nice, but definitely uneducated about booze. This place will be a hit with young hipsters, but not true, pallet educated, foodies. I will give it another shot next time I visit the area, but if this Jan 2026 visit is indicative of their product....I will be taking them off my list. I went from excited to completely dissapointed. Now I'm not so surprised that it was dead at 5pm on a Friday night. #DoBetter
Our dining experience at Dumplin' was truly exceptional. The food was inventive and delicious, and the service was outstanding.
A huge thank you to Jeff, the General Manager, who ensured we had an impeccable experience. His professionalism and warmth made the night perfect! š
The Gua Smash cocktail (with watermelon, tequila, and blooming basil seeds) was a refreshing hit! š¹š

What a fantastic neighborhood spot in the Highlands! We enjoyed the delicious food - definitely try the bao buns, kabobs and of course the delicious dumplings! The Hamachi Crudo appetizer in the Tigre de Leche was delectable and probably one of my favorite things we tried. Loved the atmosphere and our server Ethan and the manager Jeff were so knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience so memorable. We even had our 1 year old with us (he loved the chicken kabob and the focaccia bread!) and he couldnāt stop dancing to the amazing music they were playing! We loved the atmosphere. Canāt wait to return! 10/10

From the the welcome to the ordering experience and the soft touch of a sake shot to start our evening, we loved our dinner-dessert. Ethan was a delightful server to boot!

Food was amazing, the chicken parm ramen is the best ramen I've ever had. Great service and food came out quickly. We tried 5 dishes and all were outstanding.

The food and service were wonderful, but the ābackgroundā music was too loud to permit conversation with my dining companions.
Overall I would say Dumplinā has a creative food menu that should give everyone in your party something to enjoy however they are quite pricey for being a dumpling house. Two people and we spent $180 with 1 cocktail each, two apps and 3 different dumplings to share. They do charge a 22% automatic tip and are very upfront about it which I appreciate but also itās higher than all the other restaurants in this area (most are letting you choose and the ones that are still charging are only doing a small percentage like 3% for kitchen staff). The edamame was great, loved the dried curry spice on it. Tuna tartare was more of a spicy tuna mixture than Iām used to but it was still good. We had the wagyu, shrimp scampi, and chicken dumpling. The wagyu and shrimp were our favorites! The complimentary dessert is cute and the whipped cream was quite delicious. Not sure Iāll hurry back based on price but definitely a cute spot to try!
