This restaurant is permanently closed and building up for lease
Restaurant is closed. Apparently seized due to unpaid taxes back in April/ May of 2024. Unfortunately, I was unaware of this until I showed up for my reservation only to find I had to scramble to find another restaurant before an event that evening. Ended up being late to event. I can't find a way to report this to Open Table so hopefully this helps others that see this nonexistent restaurant before they make plans.
Great place! Good food, drinks and service. My enchiladas were delicious! Will definitely visit again!

El Chingon Bistro is our new spot! The food is fantastic, the staff is welcoming and on top of it, and the environment is relaxing and a beautiful space. This is a great place for a meal or a party spot for drinks with friends.

Service was fast but the food is grossly overpriced and was not good. Much better other options in this area.
Horrible, steak was raw and tasted like it cooked on a dirty grill and the 3 tacos for $20+ were so small don't waste your time

Just so/so. It was nothing spectacular. The chicharrones (pictured here) were alright. It tasted like what I could get from local food trucks for much less money. I think the pozole was pretty good, but I've certainly tried much more amazing pozole. Honestly, I probably will not be a returning customer, although I hope others find this review helpful.

Went to dinner at the new location for the first time. Man, Lorenzo and his staff have it nailed. It was my 22nd wedding anniversary so a trip to my local cantina was out of the question. Needed to up my game. Had civeche app....delicious. Asada for my main, wife had the asada tacos. Both were cooked perfectly. Tender and flavorful. Been going since they opened in Arvada 11/12 years ago (?), each place better than the last. Kudos El Chingon!

El Chingon has a lot of tasty menu options, including vegetarian, chicken, pork, beef, and seafood items. The margaritas are highly recommended especially the Paloma and La Gloria.
Very nice!

Had my birthday dinner at El Chingon Bistro recently and was super happy with this great neighborhood gem. The food was great (we had the elote, ceviche, and chili rellenos), drinks were perfect, and the service was outstanding (thank you Johanna!). It was also competitively priced, making it an affordable choice for more occasions. We'll be back, for sure!
Vegetarian options: Chili rellenos, elote are the ones we had.

This must be one of the best places for breakfast burritos that I have found, and the person who rings me up and makes it is so nice every time. Such a great way to start my day!
