I used to come here all the time with my mom when I was younger. I went for the first time in years yesterday and was completely ignored by staff. Waited well over 5 minutes and no one so much as looked at us. Ended up walking out and going somewhere else that was happy to take my money.

I was born and raised In Los Angeles, Cal, I lived in Denver for a minute , and now living in Albuquerque. I share this to say that when it comes to tacos Ive have some of the best of the best tacos in the land. By far El Toros have the best deep fried steak taco ever! The customer service is friendly. The atmosphere has a good o’ home grown vibe!!

My husband and I love the steak tacos here, having been coming here 20+ years. we live kinda far away now so we aren't able to go there as often. so yesterday we decided to make the drive and go have some tacos. We waited over 20 minutes before someone asked us what we wanted to drink. We ordered our food and drinks at that time. Waited another 25 minutes and still no food. Meanwhile people who came in after us were getting their food and eating. We politely asked them if our order had been put in and we were assured it had. Well, another 30 minutes passed and still no food! The restaurant was not busy so that wasn't an issue. We finally just got up and left. I honestly think we were discriminated against for not being Hispanic. I won't ever set foot in there again!

Just got back to Colorado after being gone for 10 years. We were exciting to go to El Toro for the steak tacos and we were very disappointed....where's the meat?? Very little meat, no cheese and the service SUCKED!!! Too may great places to eat in the Denver metro area, I will NEVER come back here!! The bathrooms were nastier than ever!!!!!! ZERO stars!!
