I went in on a Saturday I got lucky it was so busy but I got in go early but waitress was very pleasant had a smile and a nice welcome food was hot wow pancakes are very good ok this the business should know on this sat I was with a friend this gentleman came in by himself begging begging me to buy his white cheese I was w a friend I go I guess felt pressured he made me feel sorry for him telling me and my friend he was trying to work to feed his family it was white cheese small cheese I bought two he charged me 28 bucks I paid him never again the cheese was ok when I ate some ok but people 28 bucks and he goes table to booth begging people next Sunday my friend took me again here he comes begging again he remembered me and he came to me gracias for last time he said but would you buy some more I said no my friends like help him no I don't have 28 bucks for a couple of slices of white cheese sorry so this is the downfall a solicitor begging begging people to buy his cheese and your trying to eat your food and here he is literally begging customers saying I'm just trying to make ends meet but that's why I stopped going but great food friendly staff owner get rid of the solicitor begging for white cheese money its a real turnoff when trying to eat and a man begging for you to buy white cheese

We've been going to this place for years now. I just met my brother there this morning for breakfast (and tequila + OJ [they don't have grenadine]). The breakfast was AMAZING!!! Nino had the menudo (plenty of tripe). You could tell it was slow cooked with patas because of how tender the tripe was and the depth of flavor and stickiness only patas can add. I had the bistec a la Mexican con juevos and it blew my mind how tasty it was. And let's be serious, not all beans are created equal. These beans were definitely a step above. And that's coming from a lifelong bean addict. Last, but definitely not least, the flour tortillas are made in house and were just better. Better than most any tortillas you will find in Denver outside of your jefita's kitchen.
Pricing was definitely on the affordable side with the breakfasts between $10-$14. Ask for Claudia. She definitely hooked it up.
Authentic Mexican food, from the perspective of this gringa! The crispy Chile relleno was delicious, the green Chile was spicy, and portions were plentiful! Definitely recommend!

This place used to be one of my favorites, but the recent price increases and noticeable reduction in quality force me to drop to 3 stars. If you’re starving and in a hurry, give the drive through a try, just don’t expect quality steak meat in your burrito anymore.
