The staff made my 83 year old mother feel so special on her birthday. Thanks for your patience and kindness
Breakfast was great there!! A very diverse menu, and everything we ordered was wonderful! The wait staff was very attentive, refilling coffee all the time without having to ask for it. Our waiter, Hal, was really nice, and we enjoyed chatting with him. All in all, it was a great way to start our day!! Congrats, Hal, you are a perfect waiter!!
A perfect brunch spot with even better people! From the moment we walked in , we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Hostess was very nice, we wanted to seat close by music and she provided us a very nice table. The service and food are top-notch. What really elevated the entire experience was our server, Dawa was kind , professional and incredibly attentive. If you are looking for a delicious brunch with impeccable service, look no further than ELLYNGTON's !
The service and food here are top-notch. Live music with brunch is a great way to start Sunday. It's a great place to take a first date or a group.
What an unfortunate experience. I haven't been to the Brown Palace in many years and was looking forward to having brunch on my brief visit. The food, the service the attitude was not good at all. The “famous eggs Benedict“ had sauce that came from a jar. Was not hot and it was not Canadian bacon it was a slice of thin ham that you could have picked up at the grocery store. The fruit salad had pithy, apples, and pears. The grapefruit juice came from a box was not fresh. I ordered a glass of champagne and was never offered a second glass. The air-conditioning was not working and it was incredibly hot. When we commented to the staff their response was “yeah it is hot”
Our food was great! Our server was the nicest gentleman. We celebrated my birthday and they offered free champagne. Very nice quiet restaurant.
Table was in a back corner by a loud bussing station. Air conditioning wasn't working very well so very warm. Service was excellent; food was good but price was expensive.
Our party of five thoroughly enjoyed our leisurely breakfast at Ellyngton's. The menu provided a pleasant variety of options—from fruit and yogurt (a very healthy serving of fruit) to a breakfast burrito. The food was nicely prepared and nicely presented. Our server was very pleasant, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. A particular delight, for me, is that the restaurant responded extremely well to our special request for our seating.
Exquisitely wonderful!! Dawa was amazing and made it such a special experience! Thank you! Irelan Family
We concluded our anniversary weekend with a delightful breakfast at Ellyngton’s, and it was the perfect way to cap off a wonderful stay at The Brown Palace. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere inviting, and the service was consistently outstanding—a hallmark of this hotel.
The live music created a serene and sophisticated ambiance, while the staff’s attentiveness ensured that every detail was taken care of. Our coffee cups were never empty, thanks to the team’s unobtrusive but ever-present care.
I thoroughly enjoyed the eggs Benedict, which were flawlessly executed, and my wife raved about the hearty and flavorful oatmeal. Both dishes were beautifully presented and reasonably priced, making the meal an incredible value.
Ellyngton’s offers a breakfast experience that’s as refined as the rest of The Brown Palace. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and can’t recommend this gem enough for anyone seeking a relaxed yet elegant start to their day.

We came to celebrate our anniversary, and were extremely disappointed and underwhelmed :( The remodel has really taken away from the elegant and nostalgic vibe we all knew and loved. Stark and sterile, nothing special anymore. The food was fine, but no better than you can get at any other restaurant, really. Our server was great at first, but then became extremely inattentive after food was dropped- we waited 20 minutes without being checked on. We had to flag down the busser to ask our server if we could get a box and the check. The server came to the table next to us and while taking their order, put down our check. No box. We didn't want to wait any longer for the box, so put down cash and left.
I will say the Bloody Mary was fantastic.

Not what it used to be. The ambiance was amazing. You actually felt like you were eating in a place that hadn't been affected by time. And the spread...it never disappointed. Now, it's another basic breakfast place with zero character or charm. Sadly enough, the food quality has gone down as well. I felt like the cooks did what they could, but the quality of the ingredients was sub par. For over $100 for 2 people, I was extremely disappointed and won't ever be going back. Sad to have a piece of Denvers history ruined...

Food was great overall we had the all American breakfast and the French toast. Service was well below average. The two host made as a reservation at 10:45 when we came in at 10. We came back at 10:45 and they proceeded to make us wait another 30 minutes while they sat other people even though we had a reservation.

Place was completely empty but the trash hostess claimed that the kitchen was backed up and made us wait an hour past our reservation time for overpriced subpar food

Went for brunch with some friends and what a disappointment. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered an omelet (not on the menu) and asked for tomato, onion, Mushrooms and cheddar, well cooked. It tasted and looked like powdered eggs, the cheddar was not melted, the onions were still raw and no mushrooms.
I also asked for a side of fruit that was not delivered with the meal; had to ask for it again. When it arrived, the fruit was definitely not fresh.
My friend's orders were not much better. There are much better brunch spots for way less money. I will not be going back anytime soon.
