Dinner was good and our server was nice. The bread is always a treat. Lots of memories of past dinners here over the years as we dinned on one of the last nights that this Elways location will be open.
This was bitter sweet, last week for this location. Servers were great and all that have enjoyed this location over the years are dinning this week. Sorry to see this neighborhood jewel go
With Elway's closing soon, we wanted one last dining experience. Been coming here since it opened! We enjoyed the coconut shrimp (special item), filet, sea bass, brussel sprouts (without truffle oil), poblano twice baked portato and caramelized onions and carrot cake for dessert. Service was good. Sad to see it go but am hoping they open up in a new location, in the same area, soon!
I have been dining at Elway's Cherry Creek for many, many, years. I am very sad for the closure and had to have a cocktail in the bar and dine one more time. The food, service, and ambiance was outstanding as usual. Thank you for so many years of wonderful meals and service. This establishment will be greatly missed. Hats off to all the staff and I hope they land places they are happy. Take care Elway's.
My son had just graduated from DU, and this was the celebration dinner. Great place, great food. Pace was a little slow, but- wine bottle prices were great- the bottle we chose was only 2x retail, which...I haven't seen 2x retail in ages, so was very surprised to see this. Kudos to Elways for the wine pricing. Need to see more businesses do this. Thought steak prices were very reasonable, and was a great night to build family memories.
Squeezed in a dinner before the Cherry Creek location closed- as a testament to how solid and popular this restaurant is- it was absolutely packed. We had a wonderful meal with perfectly cooked steaks as usual. I hope they open another location nearby quickly!
Great food. Service was excellent. Very nice place to celebrate our anniversary- nice evening. Very disappointed this location will be closing. We really enjoyed over the past few years.
Delicious food and excellent service. Made a reservation two weeks in advance to be sure we had a seat. It gets busy fast, even during early dinner hours. Very sad to see this restaurant go.
Has always been absolutely amazing food and service. We are so sad that the Cherry Creek location will be closing as we have been going there for over 12 years. Thank you to all of the amazing staff, chefs, management and owners we have loved every experience we have had over the years. My children fell in love with this restaurant as it was one of their first fancy dinner occasions that they took me too for a mother and sons night.
I cannot say enough good things about my latest experience at Elways. Visiting from CA, I wanted a good steak and this did bro disappoint. From the Knowledge of the wine to the friendliness of the staff, 5/5 stars. Sad to see it go, happy to share one last meal. JK

Everything was delicious and such a nice night! However it's so expensive. To have a nice time out should not cost 800.00 including tip, for 4 people. We each had 4 course meal. Next time we will have to be more careful selecting our picks.
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary with his daughter and son in law. The crab legs were pretty much tasteless, the Yukon mashed potatoes luke warm. My husband requested his salmon well done and it wasn't so it had to go back and took way too long to be brought back to the table. Sadly the manager was standing around but never approached our table to check on how things were. The whole evening was disappointing. Our waiter Hugh was the bright spot. The key lime pie was very good. We have been going to Elway's for years and in the past we enjoyed our dinners and lunches. Sadly last night did not continue that trend.
We have been dining at Elway for years. The food was always good. But the few times we were Disappointed with the steaks and the lamb chop. They were so tuff. The service was great. But we won't be coming back anytime soon. This was for my birthday dinner. The crème brûlée was very good and also the chicken fried lobster.
The food has become different. It used to be much better with more options. I don't know that we will return for two reasons: much more expensive and the food prep is different and tastes off—way off!
We really enjoyed our dining experience at Elway. Our server was stellar, and her assistant servers also were fantastic at anticipating every need. The food as usual is top quality, and the beverage list and wine list are extensive and very well thought out .again a wonderful steakhouse experience in Cherry Creek.
